摘要: A fuse circuit and an electronic circuit for outputting a signal in accordance with the breakage of fuses even when the resistances of the broken fuses differ, reducing leak currents, and lowering power consumption. The fuse circuit includes a plurality of fuse lines, each including a fuse connected to a low-potential ground line and to a high-potential line via a MOS transistor and a constant current source. The fuse lines also each includes an inverter having an input terminal connected between the MOS transistor and constant current source. A reference circuit is connected in parallel to the fuse lines and includes a current source, a transistor, and a resistor connected in series. The transistor of the reference circuit has an input terminal connected to its control terminal and to the control terminal of each MOS transistor.

摘要: In order to reduce the number of processes for manufacturing spacers and to prevent quality degradation resulting from a cell gap, a spacer 115 in a semi-transmission area 12 is formed outside of a region of a bump layer 118B. Thus, it is made possible to manufacture the spacer in the transmission region 11 and the spacer outside of the region of the bump layer in the same process. Accordingly, the number of processes can be reduced. Moreover, it is made possible to determine the cell gap in the semi-transmission area 12 by a single element of a spacer. Accordingly, precision degradation of the cell gap, which results from the bump layer, can be prevented, and high display quality can be obtained.

摘要: During a still picture display period, a normal write voltage is sometimes unable to be applied to a liquid crystal layer 16 because two memory switch elements 21 and 22 are simultaneously turned on, and the output and the inverted output from the digital memory 18 are applied simultaneously to a pixel electrode 13. According to the present invention, the pulse width for the on period of one of the memory switch elements 21 and 22 is narrower than the pulse width for the off period of the other memory switch element, so that the on periods of the two memory switch elements 21 and 22 do not overlap. In this manner, the memory switch elements 21 and 22 are prevented from being turned on at the same time.
