Abstract: The present document provides a method and apparatus for processing a warning message, an MME, a CBC and a base station. Herein, the method includes that: a first request message for requesting for broadcasting a warning message is transmitted to a base station, herein a warning area range in the first request message includes Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) information (S402); and a first response message sent by the base station is received, herein the first response message carries the PLMN information corresponding to issuing of the warning message (S404).
