摘要： A method and apparatus provides a communication connection between a user equipment and a network entity including a plurality of radio bearers having security keys. A connection reconfiguration message is received, which identifies bearer specific changes to be made to a subset of radio bearers including less than all of the plurality of radio bearers, that impact the security keys being used by the subset of radio bearers, where the connection reconfiguration message includes a bearer identification field that identifies the radio bearers included in the subset and a chaining counter. The requested changes are applied to the subset of radio bearers associated with the bearer identification field without resetting the communication connection with the communication network.

摘要： Techniques are disclosed for a wireless router or residential gateway to distinguish power-sensitive wireless sensors and provide separate treatments thereto for low power consumption connections. In some embodiments, a network device includes a wireless network circuit, and control circuitry coupled to the network circuit and configured to, upon receipt of a request of connection from a client, identify whether the client is power-sensitive. The network device can further cause, if the client is identified as power-sensitive, the power-sensitive client to connect using a low-power connection while maintaining a regular connection to other regular clients. The low-power connection can be operated on a first channel different from but in a same frequency band as a second channel on which the regular connection is operated.

摘要： A data transmission method of a User Equipment, UE, in a Long Term Evolution, LTE, compliant mobile communications network, and a corresponding UE. The method comprises detecting reconfiguration of a bearer from a split bearer in which uplink Packet Data Convergence Protocol, PDCP, Protocol Data Units, PDUs, are transmitted to both a Master eNB, MeNB, and to a Secondary eNB, SeNB, to a non-split bearer in which uplink PDCP PDUs are transmitted only to the MeNB. If reconfiguration of a bearer from a split bearer to a non-split bearer in which uplink PDCP PDUs are transmitted to the MeNB is detected, the method further comprises initiating retransmission of PDCP PDUs from the first PDCP PDU for which transmission was attempted via the SeNB and for which there has been no confirmation of successful delivery by a protocol layer below the PDCP layer within the UE. The method further comprises retransmitting only PDCP PDUs for which transmission of the PDU was attempted via the SeNB.
