    Abstract: A battery management device includes a detection circuit, a charge control circuit, and a discharge control circuit. The detection circuit is configured to output a first control signal and a second control signal according to a volume of a rechargeable battery. The charge control circuit is electrically coupled to the rechargeable battery and the detection circuit, and configured to open a charge loop of the rechargeable battery according to the first control signal. The discharge control circuit is electrically coupled to the rechargeable battery and the detection circuit, and configured to close a discharge path of the rechargeable battery according to the second control signal.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first UE (User Equipment) to update Layer-2 Identities (IDs). In one embodiment, the method includes the first UE establishing a unicast link with a second UE, wherein a first Layer-2 ID of the first UE and a second Layer-2 ID of the second UE are used for data transmission and reception on the unicast link. The method further includes the first UE transmitting a Link Identifier Update Request message for the unicast link to the second UE, wherein the Link Identifier Update Request message includes a new first Layer-2 ID of the first UE. The method also includes the first UE receiving a Link Identifier Update Accept message for the unicast link from the second UE, wherein the Link Identifier Update Accept message includes a new second Layer-2 ID of the second UE. In addition, the method includes the first UE passing the new first Layer-2 ID of the first UE and the new second Layer-2 ID of the second UE down to the lower layer(s) after a Link Identifier Update Acknowledgement (ACK) message is passed to the lower layer(s) for transmission in response to reception of the Link Identifier Update Accept message.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for improving power consumption for an activated cell in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a user equipment (UE) receives a configuration of at least one bandwidth part for a cell. The UE performs a reception for the cell with a bandwidth associated with a first bandwidth part when a first bandwidth part of the cell is active. The UE does not perform the reception for the cell when a second bandwidth part of the cell is active.

    Abstract: An antenna adapted for an electronic device is provided. The antenna includes a chamber, a first liquid conductor, a second liquid conductor, and a feeding portion. The first liquid conductor is located in the chamber. The second liquid conductor is located in the chamber. A specific gravity of the second liquid conductor is larger than a specific gravity of the first liquid conductor, and a conductivity of the second liquid conductor is smaller than a conductivity of the first liquid conductor. The feeding portion extends into the chamber from an outside of the chamber. The feeding portion contacts with one of the first liquid conductor and the second liquid conductor.

    Abstract: A three-dimensional head portrait generating method executes on an electronic device. The three-dimensional head portrait generating method establishes a three-dimensional head portrait model with a plurality of feature points according to front face information, wherein feature points form a plurality of first grids on the three-dimensional head portrait model; maps a first part of the feature points of the three-dimensional head portrait model to a left face image to form a plurality of second grids on the left face image; maps a second part of the feature points of the three-dimensional head portrait model to a right face image to form a plurality of third grids on the right face image; and superimposes the left face image and the right face image onto the three-dimensional head portrait model according to a correspondence among the first grids, the second grids and the third grids, to generate a three-dimensional head portrait.

In one embodiment, the method includes the first UE transmitting a first PC5 RRC (Radio Resource Control) message to a second UE, wherein the first PC5 RRC message includes an AS (Access Stratum)-layer configuration for a unicast link established with the second UE. The method also includes the first UE transmitting a fourth RRC message to a network node if a configuration failure of the AS-layer configuration is detected, wherein the fourth RRC message indicates the configuration failure occurs.
