Methods, systems, and computer readable media are disclosed for managing an aircraft's systems through a dedicated interface. One aspect of a method for implementing the subject matter described herein includes at least one interactive interface configured for managing an aircraft system, displaying at least one or more graphic object representing at least one or more system component, displaying at least one or more energy flow icon representing the direction of circulation of an energy flow, and interacting with the at least one or more system component through a user action on the at least one or more graphic object.
Abstract:
A method and system for managing automatic guidance of an aircraft during a complete engine failure. Said system includes means for monitoring engines so as to be able to detect a complete failure of the engines; means for detecting whether the aircraft is in flight; means for detecting whether the aircraft is in a different guidance mode from a guidance mode configured to make the aircraft descend with a reduced engine thrust and a fixed speed; and control means for automatically bringing guidance means of the aircraft into a guidance configuration compatible with the situation associated with the complete failure of the engines.

An aircraft comprising a wing box and a fuselage provided with a connecting device configured to be connected to the wing box and to transmit thereto stresses undergone by the fuselage during maneuvers of the aircraft are provided. The connecting device is formed by a keel beam and a keel beam panel connected to the beam via a connecting portion of the beam, that is moreover provided with a main portion extending in a first, generally longitudinal direction and a transfer portion extending in a second direction different from the first direction and configured to be connected to the box. The main, transfer and connecting portions are configured to direct a major part of the stresses received by the beam in the second direction and transmit said major part of the stresses to the box by compression.

A device for machining a slot on a surface of a cellular structure includes a machining head that includes a chassis, a rotary tool rotating about a tool axis perpendicular to the direction of the slot, two guide wheels arranged on either side of the rotary tool that have a plurality of teeth configured and positioned such that they penetrate the cells of an alignment of the cellular structure. The machining head includes a link between the chassis and at least one guide wheel that enables a degree of freedom in a lateral direction parallel to the tool axis such that the guide wheel is movable in relation to the rotary tool in the lateral direction.
Abstract:
A device for conducting accelerated aging tests of a coating, notably an outer coating for an aircraft, in particular allowing the testing of the durability of the coating after having been subject to all kinds of stresses, is desired. An object of the disclosure thus relates to such a device including test chambers subject to different and/or independently controllable test parameters, and including light for generating photo-oxidation, the device including a support for a sample of the coating, displaceable between the chambers for generating mechanical stresses by thermal shocks. The disclosure herein finds applications in many fields of industry, and preferentially in the field of aeronautics.

A system and method for providing an estimate of the thickness of the ice regardless of the shape of its surface at the level of the air/ice interface. To this end the system and method measure an intensity profile of a luminous pattern generated by diffusion in the ice, which enables the system to measure the thickness of the ice even when the air/ice surface is not plane.

A detection system comprises an analysis unit for analyzing successive images generated by a monitoring sensor to determine in an image a position of an axis representative of the displacement of the aircraft between two successive images, the so-called real position, a computation unit for computing, on the basis of data relating to a displacement of an aircraft between the generations of these two images and of the positioning of the monitoring sensor on the aircraft, a position in an image of an axis representative of the displacement of the aircraft, the theoretical position, an estimation unit for estimating the angular disparity between the real position and the theoretical position, and a comparison unit for comparing this angular disparity with at least one predefined tolerance value so as to detect a misalignment when this angular disparity is greater than this tolerance value.

Systems and methods are disclosed allowing a passenger of a vehicle to use a personal electronic device to control a saving, on a storage device, of image data of video streams arising from cameras of the vehicle. The system includes at least one client/server module configured to receive and retransmit image data of a video stream received from one of the cameras to the storage device. The client/server module includes a processor configured to connect the personal electronic device to the client/server module, a receiver for receiving a request, originating from the personal electronic device, including an item representative of a set of images of the video stream to be saved and a transmitter for transmitting to the storage device image data of the video stream corresponding to the item, with a view to their saving.
