    Abstract: A baseboard management controller (BMC) carrier module that contains a BMC carrier bracket and a thumb screw is disclosed. The BMC carrier bracket has a back plate, a top plate, a side plate, and a corner plate. The corner plate includes a first section and a second section. The second section of the corner plate extends perpendicularly from the first section of the corner plate. The BMC carrier bracket is configured to receive a BMC board between the first section of the corner plate and the side plate. The BMC board includes an aperture to receive a screw to secure the BMC board to the BMC carrier bracket, at a distance from the back plate. The thumb screw is coupled to the second section of the corner plate of the BMC carrier bracket, and is configured to bias a memory carrier module against the side plate.

    Abstract: An environment detection method includes the following steps is provided. Firstly, an ultrasonic wave is emitted to a first reflecting cone by an ultrasonic transmitter, wherein the ultrasonic wave is reflected to the environment by the first reflecting cone in a full circumferential direction. Then, the ultrasonic waves reflected back from a second reflecting cone is received by an ultrasonic receiver. Then, a received signal waveform received by the ultrasonic receiver is recorded by a controller.

    Abstract: An air duct formed from an electromagnetic wave absorber in the form of a sheet is disclosed. The sheet can be bent into a duct or scored, and folded at the score lines to bring the ends of the sheet into proximity. The ends can then be joined by adhesive, welding, or mechanical fasters. The air ducts disclosed herein provide dual functions of providing ventilation for electronic components in an electronic module, while at the same time, reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI). One or more air ducts, of the same or different dimensions, shapes, volumes can be combined with electronic modules, such as a server, to provide both ventilation and EMI suppression to various components within the electronic module.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for non-linearly stretching a cropped image, including: obtaining an FOV difference table of a panoramic lens; calculating a polynomial of an approximated curve represented by the values of the FOV difference table; shooting a circular wide-angle image using the panoramic lens; cropping the circular wide-angle image to preserve the remaining circular wide-angle image under a specific viewing angle; under the specific viewing angle, resampling a plurality of points by the polynomial to obtain the corresponding spacing distance of the points; and while maintaining the ratio of the spacing distance between the plurality of points, stretching the remaining circular wide-angle image to the size of the original circular wide-angle image.

    Abstract: An insulin-dosage detection device is arranged on a rotation member of an insulin injection pen having an injection button. The rotation variation of the rotation member corresponds to the injection dosage of the insulin injection pen. The insulin-dosage detection device has a circuit, a detection button, and a processor. The circuit, arranged on the rotation member of the insulin injection pen, outputs electronic signals in response to rotation of the rotation member. The detection button is connected to the injection button. The rotation member of the insulin injection pen rotates in response to the detection button and the injection button being pressed. The circuit rotates along with the rotation member. The processor, coupled to the circuit, calculates the rotation variation of the rotation member according to a first electronic signal and a second electronic signal respectively output from the circuit before and after the rotation of the circuit.

    Abstract: A system and method for monitoring and recovering a heterogeneous integrated circuit, such as an FPGA, operating with firmware. A firmware image for the integrated circuit is stored in a storage device. The operational status of the integrated circuit is periodically determined via a controller such as a BMC. A failure of the integrated circuit is determined. The stored firmware image is sent to the integrated circuit. The firmware image is installed on the integrated circuit. The controller determines whether the installation of the firmware image results in restoration of the integrated circuit.
