The pump device includes: a switching valve for switching a flow of oil to a first chamber or a second chamber of a cylinder device, the inside of which is segmented into the first chamber and the second chamber by a piston; an up blow valve (first chamber-side relief valve) that relieves pressure of a first chamber-side flow path connected to the first chamber; and a down blow valve (second chamber-side relief valve) that relieves pressure of a second chamber-side flow path connected to the second chamber.

Thus, the damping force variable mechanism of a pressure damping device can be examined in a state in which the damping force variable mechanism is installed in the vehicle.

Abstract: A steering device includes a motor, a first shaft, a transmitter, a second shaft, and an engagement portion. The first shaft of a hollow cylindrical shape is coupled in a torque transmittable manner to a steering member with which a driver performs steering operation. The transmitter is disposed on an outer circumference of the first shaft and configured to transmit torque of the motor to the first shaft. The second shaft is coupled in a torque transmittable manner to a wheel-turning unit configured to turn wheels. The second shaft is inserted in the first shaft. The engagement portion is interposed between an inner surface of the first shaft and an outer surface of the second shaft and configured to make the first shaft and the second shaft engage with each other.

Abstract: A damping force generating apparatus of a shock absorber includes a main flow path through which a working fluid flows, a main valve which generates a damping force by controlling the flow of the working fluid by opening and closing the main flow path, a pilot chamber into which the working fluid branched from the main flow path flows and which applies an internal pressure in a valve closing direction to the main valve by a pressure of the working fluid, and a pilot flow path to which the working fluid flows out from the pilot chamber. In addition, a jet stream which is generated in a flow path narrowed by the main valve in the main flow path joins the flow of the working fluid which flows out from the pilot chamber via the pilot flow path.

Abstract: An embodiment provides a vane pump device includes multiple vanes; a rotor that includes vane grooves which movably support the vanes and which are formed with columnar grooves accommodating oil on rotation center side, and that rotates due to a rotating force received from a rotation shaft; a cam ring that surrounds the rotor; and an inner plate that is disposed on one end portion side of the cam ring in a direction of a rotation axis to cover an opening of the cam ring. The inner plate includes a first portion that is provided to face the grooves, and supplies low pressure oil to the grooves, and a second portion which is provided to face the grooves, supplies high pressure oil to the grooves, and has a width in a radial direction of rotation which is different from that of the first portion in the radial direction of rotation.

Abstract: An embodiment provides a vane pump device. In the vane pump device, vane grooves of a rotor include columnar grooves which accommodate oil, and support the vanes. An inner-plate low pressure side recess portion and an inner-plate high pressure supply region are provided along a rotation direction of the rotor. The inner-plate low pressure side recess portion supplies oil to the columnar grooves at a first pressure, and the inner-plate high pressure supply region supplies oil at a second pressure higher than the first pressure. A size from an inner-plate low pressure side recess portion downstream end to an inner-plate high pressure side through-hole upstream end in the rotation direction is different from that from an inner-plate high pressure side recess portion downstream end to an inner-plate low pressure side recess portion upstream end in the rotation direction.

Abstract: An inner-plate cam ring side recess portion is formed in a cam ring side end surface of an inner plate, communicates with a columnar groove which is a center side space in vane grooves, and supplies a working fluid to the columnar groove. The inner-plate cam ring side recess portion is divided into multiple sections between a first side discharge port, through which the working fluid is discharged at a first discharge pressure from a pump chamber, and a second side suction port through which the working fluid is suctioned into a pump chamber discharging the working fluid at a second discharge pressure. The size of a separation portion in a rotation direction is larger than that of the columnar groove of the vane groove in the rotation direction.
