Abstract: A signal transmission method includes: a terminal device receives configuration information of a positioning reference signal and configuration information of a first reference signal that are from a first network device and that are sent by a serving base station, where the first reference signal and the positioning reference signal are quasi-co-located (QCLed); the terminal device determines, based on the configuration information of the positioning reference signal and the configuration information of the first reference signal, whether a second reference signal corresponding to the first reference signal exists; and if determining that the second reference signal exists, the terminal device receives the positioning reference signal sent by the first network device, where the positioning reference signal and the second reference signal are QCLed.

Abstract: In a transmission parameter configuration method, a first node receives a transmission configuration message, where the transmission configuration message includes transmission configuration index information and a transmission parameter corresponding to the transmission configuration index information, and the transmission configuration index information is used to identify different transmission modes. Abstract: A signal transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: a location management device receives first SRS resource configuration information from a serving cell and/or a neighboring cell. The location management device sends second SRS resource configuration information to a terminal device, where the second SRS resource configuration information includes third SRS resource configuration information and a downlink reference signal associated with an SRS resource indicated by the third SRS resource configuration information, and the third SRS resource configuration information is a part or all of the first SRS resource configuration information. The location management device configures the SRS resource for the terminal device, so that the SRS resource can be associated with the downlink reference signal. This helps the terminal device obtain information about a transmission beam for sending an SRS, and therefore SRS receiving efficiency of the cell can be improved to some extent.

In the measurement method, a communications apparatus may receive configuration information, where the configuration information includes a cell list and indication information, and the indication information is used to indicate whether a measurement event is affected by the cell list; and the communications apparatus performs a measurement evaluation based on the cell list and the indication information. In this implementation, whether to perform a trigger evaluation for a measurement result of a cell in the cell list may be determined depending on whether the measurement event is affected by the cell list, to avoid an unnecessary trigger evaluation for a cell.

Abstract: This application provides a beam failure recovery method, an apparatus, and a system. In this solution, a terminal device receives first configuration information from a network device, and performs cell-level beam failure recovery or transmission reception point level (TRP-level) beam failure recovery based on the first configuration information. The method includes: determining a time domain density of a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) according to a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and correspondence information between MCSs and PTRS time domain densities; determining a frequency domain density of the PTRS according to a first scheduled bandwidth and correspondence information between scheduled bandwidths and PTRS frequency domain densities; and mapping the PTRS to one or more resource elements (REs) according to the time domain density of the PTRS and the frequency domain density of the PTRS when certain conditions are met.
