Abstract: The present disclosure provides an information transmission method, a base station, and user equipment. The method includes: receiving a random access preamble sent by user equipment (UE); generating first information according to the received random access preamble, where the first information is random access response information, and the first information includes at least one of the following information: narrowband indication information used for transmission of a control channel, initialization parameter indication information of a demodulation reference signal scrambling sequence initialization parameter used for transmission of the control channel, coverage enhancement level indication information used for transmission of the control channel, or resource allocation information used for transmission of second information, where the second information is response information to the first information; and sending the first information to the UE.

Abstract: The application pertains to determining a rank of channel loss extent. A base station sends to a terminal a signaling indicating that there are N ranks of channel loss extent. Each rank has a corresponding number of random access preamble repetitions. The base station receives from the terminal device one or more transmissions of a random access preamble in a first number of repetitions of the random access preamble. The base station determines the rank of channel loss extent according to a random access preamble group in which the received random access preamble is located, or the first number of repetitions of the received random access preamble. A channel loss is a reference signal received power (RSRP). After determining the rank of channel loss extent, the base station determines a second number of repetitions corresponding to the determined rank of channel loss extent, for sending or receiving uplink/downlink information.

According to the solutions of this application, in a case where the MTC terminal cannot receive RRC signaling, the narrowband resource available to the MTC terminal can still be determined beforehand, and communication between the MTC terminal and a network-side device is implemented by using the narrowband resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method for information transmission. Therefore, the base station and user equipment may send and/or receive information on a suitable time-frequency resource and power configuration according to the channel loss magnitude.

The method includes: determining a first parameter for enhanced transmission of control information. Between a base station and UE, a kth subframe after a last subframe in enhanced transmission of control information may be preset as a start subframe in enhanced transmission of a PDSCH, a jth subframe after the last subframe in enhanced transmission of the control information may be preset as a start subframe in enhanced transmission of a PUSCH, and a start subframe in enhanced transmission of the control information is preset, where the subframes may also be radio frames. Therefore, the user equipment can accurately determine the last subframe and/or radio frame occupied by the control information, thereby ensuring performance of the PDSCH or PUSCH.

The present disclosure may be used in an M2M application based on an LTE network.
