In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a beam management configuration that indicates a set of resources to be used by the UE for transmitting a plurality of reference signals, including at least one sounding reference signal (SRS) and at least one demodulation reference signal (DMRS), to be used for beam refinement during an uplink beam management occasion; and transmit, to the base station, the at least one SRS and the at least one DMRS based at least in part on the beam management configuration. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a first configuration and a second configuration, wherein the first configuration is for a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and the second configuration is for a configured grant (CG), wherein the DRX cycle is associated with a set of active time durations and a set of non-active time durations, and wherein the CG is associated with a transmission in one or more non-active time durations of the set of non-active time durations; receive information identifying a mask, wherein the mask indicates a modified configuration for the transmission in the one or more non-active time durations or a modified multiplexing scheme for the CG; and selectively perform or skip the transmission in accordance with the CG and the mask. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communication in a first dynamic control resource set (CORESET) configured in a first bandwidth part (BWP). The PDCCH communication may indicate a BWP switch from the first BWP to a second BWP. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the BWP switch, whether to monitor one or more second dynamic CORESETs, subsequent to the first dynamic CORESET, that were configured in the first BWP. The UE may selectively monitor the one or more second dynamic CORESETs based at least in part on determining whether to monitor the one or more second dynamic CORESETs. The UE may transmit the first PRACH preamble as part of a random access procedure based at least in part on the PRACH preamble configuration, wherein transmitting the first PRACH preamble enables a determination of a symbol boundary offset. The UE may transmit the second PRACH preamble as part of the random access procedure based at least in part on the PRACH preamble configuration, wherein transmitting the second PRACH preamble enables a determination of a symbol timing offset. Abstract: Various aspects relate to adjusting communication timing in response to a switch from one feeder link to another feeder link in a non-terrestrial network. For example, when a satellite moves out of the coverage area of a first ground network entity (or if the first ground network entity is turned off), the satellite switches to a second ground network entity. The resulting switch from a first feeder link for the first ground network entity to a second feeder link for the second ground network entity may cause a timing glitch that adversely affects the UEs under the coverage of the satellite. The disclosure relates in some aspects to sending an indication of the switch and/or a common timing adjust command to all of the UEs affected by the feeder link switch.
