    摘要: A novel stroke converting mechanism for a push-button switch is disclosed. The stroke converting mechanism is for providing a push-button switch or a keyboard comprising the push-button switches with features such as low cost, low profile, and light and comfortable key touch. The stroke converting mechanism is made from a plate of metal such as 18-8 stainless steel, and fabricated by a single shot of press or by an etching of the plate in a batch process. The delineated plate is then shaped into a specified form by die press. In spite of the simple structure, the stroke converting mechanism can provide a sufficient stroke conversion ratio, e.g., about 4 mm of the key top to a displacement of about 1 mm necessary for actuating a couple of make-break contacts. And also, it reduces the necessary depression force on the key top to a half of the force required for actuating a make-break contacts, and provides a reduction in the height of a push-button switch or a keyboard as much as 3 mm or more.

The discharging surface of the ground electrode may be provided by forming a projection or groove at the opposing end of the ground electrode.

    摘要: A dual latching mechanism is provided for latching two spaced locations of a flexible lid to a pair of similarly spaced anchors of a compartment to which the flexible lid is movably mounted. The latching mechanism has two latches mounted on the lid by housings each including a pawl pivotally mounted which is spring biased for movement, when released, to an anchor release position and a blocking dog which is spring biased to a pawl blocking position for locking the pawl to its respective anchor. The latches are interconnected by a latch control which includes two rigid links each link having its outer end connected pivotally to a blocking dog and each having its inner end connected by way of an actuator pin to a key operated lock cylinder which is mounted on the flexible lid. The rigid links are connected so as to maintain axial rigidity for operating the two latches concurrently while having the required flexibility necessary to operate two latches on a flexible lid.

    摘要: A safety belt tensioning and rewinding retractor has a safety belt storage reel rotatably mounted to a retractor frame, emergency locking means for locking the reel against belt protraction, a member rotatably mounted in the retractor frame and means for limiting rotation of such member in a first rotative direction, a first biasing means connected between such member and reel for biasing the member toward the limiting means and the reel in an opposite belt rewinding direction, means for releaseably connecting the member to the reel to block the bias of the first biasing means when the belt is placed in a position of use and second biasing means for biasing the member in a belt rewind direction such that when the bias of the first biasing means is blocked through the connection of the member and reel, a reduced lower tension is applied to the seat belt in use due to the bias of the second biasing means applied to the reel in a rewind direction. The first and second biasing means include coil springs positioned laterally of one another in a narrow housing positioned against one side wall of the retractor frame with means for interconnecting the second laterally disposed coil spring to the aforementioned member through a serpentine spring connection in a preferred embodiment or a gear drive connection in a second embodiment for driving the member and reel when the bias of the main rewind spring is blocked.
