Abstract: An exemplary modular hold-open device is configured for use with a door closer comprising a body, a pinion rotatably mounted to the body, and an armature connected with the pinion. The modular hold-open device is configured to be mounted to the door closer, to selectively prevent rotation of the pinion by exerting on the pinion a resistive torque in a door-opening direction, and to cease exerting the resistive torque in response to a door-closing torque on the pinion exceeding a threshold torque to thereby permit rotation of the pinion in the door-closing direction.

Abstract: A lock assembly comprising: one or more racks, each rack being configured to move along a linear axis between a respective extended position and a respective retracted position; and a drive hub coupled to the one or more racks; wherein the drive hub is configured such that, in an extended position of the one or more racks, the drive hub resists a linear force applied to a rack of the one or more racks from moving the rack towards the retracted position. Abstract: A door open and close mechanism for opening and closing a plurality of doors in a machine tool including a cover. The door open and close mechanism includes a linkage mechanism and a slide mechanism. The linkage mechanism is disposed between an operation door and an intermediate door. The linkage mechanism associates the intermediate door with the opening and closing of the operation door. The slide mechanism is disposed between the operation door and the linkage mechanism. The slide mechanism enables the operation door alone to open and close by a predetermined moving distance. When the operation door is operated to open and close within the moving distance, the operation door alone opens and closes by the slide mechanism. When the operation door is operated to open and close beyond the moving distance, the intermediate door opens and closes in association through the linkage mechanism.

Abstract: A door drive for a motor vehicle door or motor vehicle flap, which is provided with an electromotive drive, a transmission downstream of the drive, and a force-transmission element. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an actuating mechanism (100) for actuating covers (102) for vehicles. The actuation mechanism (110) includes: a drive having a drive shaft; and at least one lever arm (101), which is connectable to the cover (102) and is configured so as to tap a rotational movement from the drive shaft when the drive is actuated and convert it into a movement of the cover (102). The lever arm (101) includes a drive surface (111), which communicates with the drive shaft such that a rotation of the drive shaft via the drive surface (111) is transferred to the lever arm (101). The drive surface (111) includes a first region (112) where a rotation of the drive shaft moves the lever arm in a first direction when the lever arm is in communication with the drive shaft via the first region (112), and wherein the drive surface (111) includes a second region (114) configured such that a rotation of the drive shaft moves the lever arm in a second direction when the lever arm communicates with the drive shaft via the second region (114).
