Abstract: A system is configured to obtain data for a user. The data may describe actions that the user has performed in an application and identify points in time associated with the actions. A point in time may include a point in time at which one of the actions was performed. The system is configured to analyze the data to determine, for each action, a score for each point in time. The score, for a particular point in time, may be determined based on one or more points in time at which the action was performed, and may be determined from a number of times that the action was performed at the particular point in time. The system is configured to provide the user with a functionality to perform a particular action based on the scores determined for the particular action for the set of points in time.

Abstract: In one general aspect, a method can include determining that a display monitor is operatively connected to a display port included in an operating system (OS) dongle, identifying at least one peripheral device operatively connected to the OS dongle, receiving, by the OS dongle, an indication of requested content from the at least one peripheral device, and responsive to receiving the indication of the requested content, obtaining the requested content from a computer system remote from the OS dongle. The obtaining can include operatively connecting the OS dongle to a network. The network can be operatively interfaced to the computer system that includes the requested remote content. The method can include providing, by the OS dongle, the requested content to the display monitor using the display port.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, can be used to dynamically generate electronic maps with highlighted entity boundaries. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a request for an electronic map segment for a geographic region, with the request identifying a geographic entity to be highlighted in the requested electronic map segment. A plurality of layers of map data associated with the geographic region and data defining a boundary of the identified geographic entity are retrieved in response to the request. The electronic map segment is rendered based on the retrieved plurality of layers of map data and the data defining the boundary of the geographic entity, with one or more of the retrieved layers are rendered over a rendering of a highlighted boundary of the geographic entity. The rendered electronic map segment is transmitted in response to the request.

Abstract: Implementations relate to dynamically, and in a context-sensitive manner, biasing voice to text conversion. In some implementations, the biasing of voice to text conversions is performed by a voice to text engine of a local agent, and the biasing is based at least in part on content provided to the local agent by a third-party (3P) agent that is in network communication with the local agent. In some of those implementations, the content includes contextual parameters that are provided by the 3P agent in combination with responsive content generated by the 3P agent during a dialog that: is between the 3P agent, and a user of a voice-enabled electronic device; and is facilitated by the local agent. The contextual parameters indicate potential feature(s) of further voice input that is to be provided in response to the responsive content generated by the 3P agent.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for storing incomplete dialog sessions between a user and an automated assistant in order that the dialog sessions can be completed in furtherance of certain actions. While interacting with an automated assistant, a user can become distracted and not complete the interaction to the point of the automated assistant performing some action. In response, the automated assistant can store the interaction as a dialog session. Subsequently, the user may express interest, directly or indirectly, in completing the dialog session, and the automated assistant can provide the user with a selectable element that, when selected, causes the dialog session to be reopened. The user can then continue the dialog session with the automated assistant in order that the originally intended action can be performed by the automated assistant.

Abstract: Enhanced Coulomb repulsion (electron) screening around light element nuclei is achieved by way of utilizing target structures (e.g., nanoparticles) that undergo plasmon oscillation when subjected to electromagnetic (EM) radiation, whereby transient high density electron clouds are produced in localized regions of the target structures during each plasmon oscillation cycle. Each target structure includes an integral body composed of an electrically conductive material that contains light element atoms (e.g., metal hydrides, metal deuterides or metal tritides). The integral body is also configured (i.e., shaped/sized) to undergo plasmon oscillations in response to the applied EM radiation such that the transient high density electron clouds are formed during each plasmon oscillation cycle, whereby brief but significantly elevated charge density variations are generated around light element (e.g., deuterium) atoms located in the localized regions, thereby enhancing Coulomb repulsion screening to enhance nuclear fusion reaction rates. Various target structure compositions and configurations are disclosed.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for incorporating application links into message exchange threads. One or more cues emanating from a message exchange thread involving two or more message exchange clients may be detected. The one or more cues may trigger incorporation, into the message exchange thread, of a selectable link to a distinct application. At least one candidate application that is installed on a given client computing device operated by a message exchange thread participant may be identified. The candidate application may be associated with content of the message exchange thread. A selectable link may be incorporated into a transcript of the message exchange thread displayed in a graphical user interface of a message exchange client operating on the given client computing device. The selectable link may be operable by the participant to expose to the participant an interface associated with a respective candidate application.
