Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for processing a NAS signaling request. A method for performing a non-access stratum (NAS) signaling process by means of a terminal in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of receiving a first message that includes information indicating a network failure from a network node of a first network; a step of starting a timer relating to a network selection; and a step of selecting a second network from among network candidates excluding the first network during the operation of the timer relating to a network selection.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and in particular, to a method and apparatus for updating an area in a wireless communication system. The method for updating an area by a terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: starting a backoff timer set by a network; and transmitting an area-updating request message to the network when the terminal enters a new tracking area (TA) or a new routing area (RA) while the backoff timer is operating.
Abstract:
A method of managing quality of service (QoS) of an uplink of a terminal includes the steps of: when the terminal supports reflective QoS, transmitting an instruction regarding the reflective QoS to a network node; and receiving from the network node an instruction on whether the reflective QoS is to be applied in response to the instruction regarding the reflective QoS.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method by which a network control node performs communication. The method comprises the steps of: determining whether to request, from a network function (NF), control for a network slice on the basis of a session, which is managed by a network control node, being related to an interworking procedure and on the basis of the network slice being controlled by a provider policy set in the network control node, the network slice being related to the session; transmitting a control request message for the network slice to the NF, on the basis of the determination that the network control node requests control for the network slice; and receiving a response message from the NF, wherein the response message includes information about whether the session is available in the network slice.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification can provide a method for performing a protocol data unit (PDU) session-related procedure. The method can comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a session management function (SMF) device, a PDU session-related message including a first indication related to communication through a PC5 link; and receiving a response message from the SMF device. The response message can include: a first quality of service (QoS) rule to be used on a Uu link; a second QoS rule to be used on a PC5 link; and a path selection rule about whether data should be transmitted through the Uu link or the PC5 link.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for operating an access and mobility management function (AMF) node for selecting a session management function (SMF) node. The method may comprise the steps of receiving a first message including application function (AF) request information from an AF node; selecting or reselecting an SMF on the basis of the AF request information; and transmitting a second message including the AF request information to the selected or reselected SMF.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a communication method, for handling a network error, performed by a terminal. The terminal can receive information relating to a second public land mobile network (PLMN) to which the terminal is subscribed from a base station in a first PLMN. The terminal can be connected to the first PLMN by means of the base station in the first PLMN on the basis of the information relating to the second PLMN. Information notifying of an error which has occurred in the second PLMN can be displayed on a display of the terminal.
Abstract:
According to one disclosure of the present specification, provided is a method in a network node that manages mobility in a second public land mobile network (PLMN). According to the method, an access request message from a terminal may be received through a base station in the second PLMN. In addition, a response message to an access request of the terminal may be transmitted. The response message may include information indicating rejection to the access request of the terminal, on the basis of the terminal that joined a third PLMN and on the basis of the base station that transmitted system information including information about a first PLMN on behalf of a base station of the first PLMN.

Abstract:
A disclosure according to the present specification provides a method of having an access by a terminal subscribing to a first public land mobile network (PLMN). The method may comprise a step of transmitting a first request message to a network node via a base station. The base station may be a base station of a second PLMN that broadcasts system information including information about the first PLMN. The method may comprise a step of receiving, from the network node, a first response message that is a response to the first request message. The first response message may include information indicating that there is a service failure in the first PLMN. The method may comprise a step of transmitting a second request message to the second PLMN or reselecting another PLMN instead of the first PLMN, which has a service failure, on the basis of the first response message including the information.
