Abstract: Provided in one embodiment of the present specification is a method by which an IMS AS performs communication related to a MA PDU session. The method can comprise the steps of: receiving, through a P-CSCF and a S-CSCF, a SIP registration message generated by means of UE, the SIP registration message including information that an IMS service is performed through the MA PDU session, and the SIP registration message including state information that the state of a PS data off of the UE is active; receiving, from the S-CSCF, an SIP request message for requesting the IMS service from the UE; checking whether the IMS service corresponds to an exempt service of the PS data off; including the checked result in the SIP request message; and transmitting the SIP request message to a UPF through the S-CSCF and the P-CSCF.

Abstract: The present disclosure may provide a method of operating a terminal based on a plurality of networks in a wireless communication system. Herein, the method of operating the terminal may include establishing a connection with a public land mobile network (PLMN), determining whether or not to simultaneously access the PLMN and non-public networks (NPN), transmitting, to the NPN, indication information indicating a simultaneous access request for the PLMN and the NPN, receiving, from the NPN, supported PLMN list information, and when the connected PLMN is included in the supported PLMN list information, accessing the NPN through a packet data unit (PDU) session of the PLMN. Herein, a supported PLMN list may be a list which is determined according to whether or not a quality of service (QoS) is supported based on a service level agreement (SLA) between the PLMN and the NPN.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for support of service continuity between stand-alone non-public network (SNPN) and public land mobile network (PLMN) is provided. A wireless device transmits, to an access and mobility management function (AMF) of a source network, a protocol data unit (PDU) session establishment request to establish a PDU session with the source network via a non-3GPP interworking function (N3IWF) of the source network. The PDU session establishment request includes information informing that data delivery is not available via the PDU session. The wireless device determines to move from the source network to a target network, and transmits, to a user plane function (UPF) of the source network, mobility information informing that the wireless device moves from the source network to the target network.

A session management function (SMF) of a first network transmits, to a user plane function (UPF) of the first network, a duplication request for the UPF of the first network to duplicate downlink (DL) data and send the duplicated DL data to both a next generation radio access network (NG-RAN) of the first network and a non-3GPP interworking function (N3IWF) of the first network. The SMF of the first network further transmits, to the N3IWF of the first network, a data buffering request for the N3IWF of the first network to buffer the duplicated DL data.

Abstract: Provided are a method and device for efficient public land mobile network (PLMN) selection upon authentication failure for each network slice in a roaming network. A user equipment (UE) receives a registration rejection message from an access and mobility management function (AMF) of a first PLMN. The registration rejection message includes rejected network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) including first single NSSAI (S-NSSAI) and cause value #62 for the rejected NSSAI. The UE: generates second requested NSSAI including second S-NSSAI on the basis that i) the UE does not have allowed NSSAI and configured NSSAI, and ii) default configured NSSAI includes the second S-NSSAI that is not included in the rejected NSSAI and corresponds to a network slice of which the UE requests registration; and transmits a second registration request message including the second requested NSSAI to the AMF of the first PLMN.

Abstract: A disclosure in the present specification provides a method for user equipment initiating a service request procedure. The method includes a step of the UE receiving a paging message. The UE may be registered to both of a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access and a non-3GPP access within the same PLMN. The paging message may include access type information that is used so as to indicate the non-3GPP access. The method may include a step of initiating a UE triggered service request procedure. The UE triggered service request procedure may be initiated by transmitting a service request message including a list of permitted protocol data unit (PDU) sessions. The service request message may include an empty list of the permitted PDU sessions if there is no PDU sessions that can be reactivated in the 3GPP access.
