摘要: The invention provides deodorant rayon fibers having a superior deodorization performance. The deodorant rayon fibers are produced by implanting a large quantity of fine grains produced by milling white charcoal in a matrix of the rayon fiber. After adding and mixing a water dispersion which disperses the large quantity of fine grains into viscose solutin, and then spinning, thereby the deodorant rayon fibers are produced. The fine grains obtained by milling the white charcoal do not form spheres with smooth surfaces, but their configurations are irregular with projections. As a result, even when they are implanted in the matrix of the rayon fiber, the projections tend to be exposed on the surfaces of the rayon fibers. The exposed fine grains adsorb odor gases into themselves, thereby their superior deodoization performance is performed.

摘要: This invention relates to a video signal converter, a conversion method of video signal, respectively suitable to be applied when a video signal according to National Television System Committee (NTSC) is illustratively converted to a video signal corresponding to an extended graphics array (XGA), an image display unit using the converter and conversion method, and a television receiver. A signal in each field of a video signal SNT according to NTSC in which the number of lines is 252.5 (effective line number is 240) is converted to a signal in each frame of a video signal SXG corresponding to XGA in which the number of lines is 840 (effective line number is 768). A video signal converter is composed of an image adaptive double-speed conversion circuit for converting a video signal SNT to a video signal S2N according to an interlaced scanning method in which the number of lines is doubled and an interpolation circuit for converting the video signal S2N to a video signal SXG. A video signal S2N acquired by image adaptive conversion processing is a video signal of high image quality. A video signal SXG acquired by interpolation processing based upon the video signal S2N is a video signal of high image quality free of the deterioration of the quality of an image, compared with a video signal SXG acquired only by interpolation processing based upon a video signal SNT.

摘要: A printer incorporated type electronic camera composed of an imaging unit including an imaging lens and a CCD, a printer unit, a cassette information detecting/recording unit, a tape cassette in which a recording tape having an adhesive agent applied to the back surface thereof is wound and accommodated and which can be detachably loaded and a controller for controlling respective elements. A subject image captured by the imaging unit is printed on recording tape in the tape cassette by the printer unit. Processing for fitting an image captured from an external source to the print image, and the like can be carried out. The tape cassette for print can be easily loaded to the printer incorporated type electronic camera and further the camera is less expensive. Since the radius of curvature of the recording tape when it is fed out is smaller that when it is accommodated, the recording tape can be easily exfoliated.

摘要: A timing generator operates in response to test cycles to generate test pulses for testing of semiconductor storage devices. For example, the timing generator is designed to generate two test pulses with respect to each test cycle. Herein, a RAM stores timing data under the control of a CPU. When reading the timing data from the RAM, the timing generator receives a reference clock signal, on which clock pulses repeatedly occur by a certain period in synchronization with the test cycles, to produce a clock signal which contains two pulses with respect to each test cycle. Two read addresses are sequentially generated based on the reference clock signal and clock signal. Each read address is represented by a binary code consisting of a number of bits, one of which is inverted in response to the clock signal. So, two timing data are sequentially read from the two read addresses of the RAM with respect to each test cycle. A pulse generator receives the two timing data to generate two test pulses with respect to each test cycle. Herein, generation of the two test pulses is initiated when a time represented by the timing data elapses from a trigger signal, whilst a constant interval of time is provided between the two test pulses, regardless of the test cycles.

摘要: In producing a coreless toilet paper roll, a shaft is placed near an end portion of paper, and an adhesive is applied to either one of two sides of the paper relative to the shaft without providing to the shaft. The end of the paper is turned onto the other side over the shaft and is glued to the other side so that the end portion of the paper is fixed to the shaft. Thereafter, the shaft and the paper fixed at one end to the shaft are held among two take-up rollers and a pressure roller, and are rotated to wind the paper on the shaft. After winding the paper on the shaft, the shaft is removed from the roll and the paper is cut. The cutting of the paper and gluing the paper for the next rolling may be made at the same time.

摘要: In a driving zone where a torque converter is to be locked up, a lockup force of a lockup clutch is weakened in the deceleration driving state compared with that in the non-deceleration driving state. Moreover, during transition from the deceleration driving state to the non-deceleration driving state, increase control of the lockup force is forcedly delayed for a predetermined time. By this, during acceleration from the deceleration driving state, the clutch is made to slip with a rapid increase in engine output torque and a rise in the engine output torque is buffered by the lockup clutch.
