Abstract:
Described herein is an air-distribution device which uses means designed for causing deviation, by Coanda effect, of a flow of air coming from an inlet duct into a plurality of outlet ducts. The invention is applicable both to a motor-vehicle air-conditioning assembly, which incorporates a conveyor with a heating element, and to a motor-vehicle dashboard.
Abstract:
An electrostatic actuator is described, which can be used for moving a yarn fed continuously in a textile machine in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the yarn, between two and positions.
Abstract:
A lighting device, particularly a motor vehicle light, comprising a primary reflector (2) composed of a hollow body that defines a pair of pointed elements (4,5), which face opposite directions, between which a luminous source (1) is placed; and a secondary reflector composed of an elongated element (3) with steps (6), at whose centre the primary reflector (2) is placed with its relative pointed elements (4,5) facing the steps (6).
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a collection device that can be carried by disabled persons, comprising a section of duct, destined to be connected to the rectum of the person, an expansible container, connected to said section of duct, and a shutter device interposed in the aforesaid section of duct and controlled by actuator means, for example shape-memory or electromagnetic means, activated by the signal of a sensor.
Abstract:
The system has a high-pressure pump having a number of mechanical pumping elements for pumping high-pressure fuel to a common rail; and a number of injectors communicating with the rail and activated to inject a quantity of fuel sequentially into the corresponding cylinders of the engine. Each pumping element has a delivery at least equal to the maximum draw of each injector, and is activated in phase with at least one of the injectors to minimize the variations in fuel pressure in the rail. Each pumping element may be activated by a cam, which may even have a segmented profile to effect a portion of the travel of the respective pumping element in phase with a corresponding injector.
Abstract:
A fuel injector has an injector body and a fitting for connecting the injector body to a high-pressure fuel supply conduit. The injector body and the fitting are separate elements of the injector, and are connected to each other to connect the supply conduit and grip an end portion of the supply conduit between the injector body and the fitting.
Abstract:
The injector has a hollow body supporting an ordinary injection nozzle and a metering valve for metering the fuel to be injected; and a support defined by a sleeve and by an end wall. The sleeve houses an electromagnet controlling the metering valve, and is fitted to the hollow body. For which purpose, there is provided a leaf spring having a ring-shaped portion engaging the end wall of the support; and a number of elastic blades, each terminating with a hook-shaped appendix which engages a corresponding retaining element on the hollow body.
Abstract:
The fuel premetering device has a valve controlled by an electromagnet and located between a delivery conduit of a high-pressure pump supplying fuel to a common rail, and a drain conduit for draining surplus fuel. The valve is normally closed by a spring, and the electromagnet is energized to open the valve in opposition to the spring. The electromagnet is energized by a current varying in response to the operating conditions of the engine, and which is varied by a control unit from zero, at which the valve is closed completely by the spring, to a predetermined value, at which the electromagnet opens the valve completely, so that premetering is self-adaptive. Abstract:
An electromagnetic actuator, particularly for a valve for controlling the injection of fuel or fuel oil is described and comprises: a fixed permanent magnetic core, and an electrical control winding which is disposed in the magnetic field generated by the core and is movable relative to the core when an electrical current flows through the winding, in which the winding is intended to be connected to a movable member actuable by the device, in a manner such as to bring about movement of the movable member between a rest position and at least one operative position. The winding is also arranged to act on the movable member by exerting a resilient force which can hold the member in the rest position or return the member to the rest position.
Abstract:
Informational system for a mobility vehicle, comprising an automotive user interface configured to allow a driver and other occupants of the mobility vehicle to interact with the informational system; and automotive storage and processing resources designed to cooperate with the automotive user interface to implement an informational functionality designed to provide the driver of the mobility vehicle with notifications aimed at promoting learning of features of the mobility vehicle. The automotive storage and processing resources are further designed to monitor exploitation of features of the mobility vehicle, and to suggest to the driver exploitation of those features of the mobility vehicle that are seldom exploited or completely unexploited by the driver.
