Abstract: Provided are a touch substrate and a method for driving the same, and a display apparatus. The touch substrate includes a base substrate, and a plurality of touch control units, gate lines and read lines disposed on the base substrate. Each touch control unit includes a first electrode plate, a piezoelectric material layer and a second electrode plate sequentially disposed on the base substrate. The gate lines are configured to provide a constant voltage to the first electrode plates during a touch control period. The read lines are configured to read out an amount of charges generated by the piezoelectric material layers so as to determine a position of a touch point.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a touch display panel including a self-capacitance or mutual-capacitance type touch display panel, a manufacturing method and a method driving for the same and a display device. The self-capacitance type touch display panel includes an array substrate having a first metal layer and self-capacitance touch electrodes, and a touch control chip. Each touch electrode includes common electrodes, first metal layer includes touch lead wires corresponding to the touch electrodes, and each touch electrode is connected with the touch control chip via a corresponding touch lead wire. The touch lead wire is configured to transmit a common electrode signal to the touch electrode during a display stage, to transmit a touch scan signal to the touch electrode during a touch stage, and to transmit a touch signal, which is generated by the touch electrode at a position where a touch operation occurs, to the touch control chip.

Abstract: A display panel, a method for driving the display panel, and a display device are provided. The display panel includes a display region and a peripheral region surrounding the display region. Multiple gate lines each extending in a first direction and multiple data lines each extending in a second direction are arranged at the display region. A multiplexer is arranged at the peripheral region. The multiplexer is used to, under the control of gate line ON signals from a gate line switching control line, input gate line signals from a source driver unit to corresponding gate lines, and under the control of data line ON signals from corresponding data line switching control lines, input data signals from the source driver unit to corresponding data lines.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for driving a pixel array. The pixel array comprises a plurality of pixel units, each comprising a plurality of sub-pixels of different colors, each sub-pixel having an aspect ratio from 1:2 to 1:1. The method comprises steps of: dividing an image to be displayed on the pixel array into a plurality of theoretical pixel units, each theoretical pixel unit comprising a plurality of color components; and calculating a luminance value of each sub-pixel of each pixel-unit based on the color components of respective divided theoretical pixel units.

Abstract: A virtual curved surface display panel and a display device are provided. The virtual curved surface display panel includes a flat display panel having a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, and an array of convex lenses arranged on a light exit surface of the flat display panel. The array of convex lenses makes a track of image distances of the pixels form a curved surface. By adjusting the focal lengths of the lenses, the image distances of the pixels in the flat display panel can be various. The images of the pixels are then distributed on a curved surface. A visual effect of a virtual curved surface can be achieved with a flat display panel, improving the effect of visual impact.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display device and virtual reality glasses. The display device comprises an array substrate, which comprises a base substrate, a plurality of sub-pixels arranged on the base substrate, and a grating arranged on the base substrate. The grating comprises a plurality of sub-gratings having different structures, and each sub-grating comprises an adjusting part for adjusting propagation direction of light rays, so that light rays exiting from the adjusting part converge to a predetermined spatial position. The array substrate further comprises a plurality of preset areas, and the plurality of sub-gratings correspond to sub-pixels located in different preset areas respectively. The display device further comprises a light source disposed beside the base substrate. The light rays emitted from the light source are parallel light. The light rays are totally reflected in the array substrate except in regions where the adjusting parts of sub-gratings are located.

Abstract: Display spectacles and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The display spectacles include a spectacle frame and two display devices provided on the spectacle frame as spectacle lenses. Each of the display devices includes a backlight, a lower substrate on a light exit side of the backlight, an upper substrate arranged opposite to the lower substrate, a liquid crystal layer located between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, a plurality of electrode structures located between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and a control unit. During displaying, the electrode structure deflects liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the electrode structure to form a microprism structure. The control unit adjusts a voltage on the electrode structure, thereby controlling total internal reflection or refraction of the microprism structure for light emitted from the backlight, and the adjustment for display gray scale can thus be realized.

Abstract: An In-Plane Switching (IPS) array substrate, a method for manufacturing the IPS array substrate and a display device are provided. During a touch time period included in a time period for displaying one frame of image, it is detected, through the corresponding signal lines, whether self-capacitances of the touch electrodes are changed, so as to determine a touch position.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device and a method for controlling a grating. The display device includes at least a pixel array and a grating. The pixel array comprises a plurality of columns of pixels. Each pixel includes at least one sub-pixel. Upper edges of odd-numbered columns of sub-pixels are aligned and upper edges of even-numbered columns of sub-pixels are aligned, and each of the odd-numbered columns of sub-pixels and each of the even-numbered columns of sub-pixels are staggered longitudinally. The grating comprises a liquid crystal layer and a first substrate. The electrodes of the first substrate are arranged to correspond to a region where a portion of the odd-numbered columns of, or the even-numbered columns of, sub-pixels of the pixel array is located. A corresponding region of the grating is turned on or turned off so as to form a light shielding region and a light transmitting region.
