    Abstract: A random access method, user equipment, and a network device are provided to reduce interference to a neighboring cell. The method includes: receiving at least two groups of random-access configuration parameters from a network device, where each group of random-access configuration parameters includes a power adjustment step for retransmission of a random access preamble; selecting one group of random-access configuration parameters from the at least two groups of random-access configuration parameters based on a threshold; determining transmit power of the random access preamble based on a power adjustment step for retransmission of the random access preamble in the selected random-access configuration parameters; and sending the random access preamble to the network device at the transmit power.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to beam configuration methods. In one example method, a terminal device receives a first beam from a network device, where an identifier of a reference signal sent on the first beam is a first identifier. The terminal device configures a receive beam corresponding to the first beam based on a spatial reception parameter corresponding to a downlink synchronization signal associated with current measurement, where before receiving the first beam, the terminal device does not measure or report a second beam corresponding to the first identifier.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes information reporting methods and related apparatuses used to control channel state information reporting between network devices. One example method includes receiving, by a second network device, control information sent by a first network device. The control information can include a trigger signal and a channel state information type, and the trigger signal can be used to trigger the second network device to report target channel state information to the first network device. The second network device determines the target channel state information based on the channel state information type, and then reports the target channel state information to the first network device based on the trigger signal and the channel state information type.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a method for generating a random access channel ZC sequence, and an apparatus. A method for generating a random access channel ZC sequence includes: generating, by a base station, notification signaling, where the notification signaling instructs user equipment (UE) to generate a random access ZC sequence by using a second restricted set in a random access set; and sending, by the base station, the notification signaling to the UE, so that the UE generates the random access ZC sequence by using the second restricted set, where the random access set includes an unrestricted set, a first restricted set, and the second restricted set; and the second restricted set is a random access set that the UE needs to use when a Doppler frequency shift of the UE is greater than or equal to a first predetermined value.

    Abstract: This application provides an uplink power control method and apparatus. A network side device sends a plurality of pieces of configuration information of an RACH to UE, and indicates, by using a scheduling message of the RACH, identifier information of the configuration information of the RACH used by the UE. The UE calculates a transmit power of the RACH based on the configuration information that is of the RACH and that is corresponding to the identifier information, and sends a random access preamble to the network side device based on the transmit power of the RACH.
