    Abstract: Provided are a method for requesting, by a user equipment (UE), system information in a wireless communication system and a device supporting the same. The method may include: initiating a random access procedure; requesting system information from a base station (BS) in the initiated random access procedure; receiving, from the BS, a broadcast indication indicating that the requested system information is broadcast in the initiated random access procedure after requesting the system information from the BS; and stopping the initiated random access procedure.

    Abstract: Provided is a method for a terminal performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting, to a base station, a first random access preamble corresponding to a system information block-of-interest; receiving, from the base station, a random access response including a random access preamble identifier, wherein the random access preamble identifier indicates a second random access preamble; and determining that the random access response is valid for the terminal if the second random access preamble is included in the same preamble group as the first random access preamble.

    Abstract: Provided are a method for supporting multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) service continuity by a terminal in a wireless communication system and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may comprise the steps of: entering an RRC state in which cell reselection is not supported; determining whether an MBMS service of interest can be received at a serving frequency for the terminal; and when it is determined that the MBMS service of interest cannot be received at the serving frequency, transmitting an MBMS interest indication message to a network, wherein the terminal may be a terminal not supporting a handover.

    Abstract: Provided are a method of reselecting a cell by a terminal in a wireless communication system and a device supporting the same. A terminal may measure a cell on the basis of a priority, may calculate a ranking of the cell, using a cell measurement result, and may reselect a cell having the highest ranking. Otherwise, the terminal may measure a cell and evaluate a cell reselection criterion on the basis of a priority, may calculate a CE level with respect to a cell satisfying the cell reselection criterion evaluation, using a cell measurement result, and may reselect a cell having the lowest CE level. The terminal may be a terminal operating in a coverage extension mode and the coverage extension mode enables the cell measurement to be performed for a longer time than a normal mode.
