摘要: After determining a CMYK-to-Lab relationship, a Lab lattice-to-CMYK relationship is determined. The Lab lattice-to-CMYK relationship defines, for each Lab lattice point, a plurality of allowable CMYK data sets. Then, for each Lab lattice point, several allowable CMYK data sets with the largest K value are first selected among the plurality of CMYK data sets. Then, one CMYK data set with the smallest color distance from the subject Lab lattice point is selected among the several allowable CMYK data sets. If the subject Lab lattice point falls within the color reproducible range for the value of K of the selected CMYK data set, the selected CMYK data set is finally determined for the subject Lab lattice point. It is possible to create a lookup table, in which each Lab lattice point falls within the color range of the K value in the corresponding CMYK data set.

摘要: The present invention provides a technique for improving the workability of a cutting tool. According to the present invention, a cutting tool may comprise a body, a base, a sub-base and a parallel ruler. The body may have a blade that can be rotationally driven. The base may be connected to the body, while the base is placed in contact with the upper surface of the workpiece. The body may tilt in a pivotal movement about an axis substantially parallel to the cutting direction such that a cutting operation can be performed with the blade projecting laterally outward from a side of the base. The sub-base may be removably attached to the base on the side from which the blade projects. The parallel ruler may be removably attached to the base on the side on which the sub-base is attached or on the opposite side of the base, together with the sub-base or in the state in which the sub-base is not attached.

摘要: An electric jigsaw (1) includes a main housing (2) containing a gear housing (10), a reciprocating rod (11) vertically projecting from within the gear housing, a saw blade (13) coupled to the rod via a coupling ring (12), and a transparent synthetic resin guard (14) provided at the lower front end of the main housing and the gear housing (10). The transparent guard includes a vertical optical path therethrough and is attached to the gear housing in such a manner as to be horizontally rotatable between a protective position for covering the coupling ring and an open position for exposing the coupling ring. Additionally included in the jigsaw is an insulating cover (15) assembled to the gear housing (10) within the main housing (2) and a downward oriented light-emitting diode (19) disposed at the bottom end of the insulating cover (15) directly above the transparent guard (14) when the guard is in its protective position. The light from the LED is transmitted through the front guard along the optical path, illuminating a workpiece (W) immediately forward of the blade without significant scattering or diffusion.

摘要: An image processing apparatus for color image information inputs a combination of component values of reference colors that constitute a processing color, and converts the combination of component values into a lightness value, saturation value, and hue value. The first correction factor, the second correction factor, and the third correction factor each has a value of 1.0 for a lightness value, saturation value and hue value converted from a specified color respectively, and monotonically decreases toward 0.0. The modulation amount storage means stores a modulation amount of the lightness value, saturation value, and hue value respectively. The lightness correction means computes a corrected lightness value from the converted lightness value, the saturation correction means computes a corrected saturation value from the converted saturation value, and the hue correction means computes a corrected hue value from the converted hue value by using the first, second, and third correction factors, and the modulation amount. The inverse conversion means inversely converts the corrected lightness value, corrected saturation value, and corrected hue value into a combination of component values of reference colors.
