摘要: A network system wherein any device in all networks can be represented using addresses set in the individual networks without relying upon the concept of a network number is disclosed. A first network (1) includes first to third devices (A, B, C) to which the addresses of "1", "2" and "3" are allocated, respectively. A second network (2) includes first to third devices (D, E, F) to which the addresses of "1", "2" and "3" are allocated, respectively. A third network (3) includes first and second devices (G and H) to which the addresses "1" and "2" are allocated, respectively. The first and second networks (1, 2) are connected to each other by way of a gateway (GW1) for which the address 4 in the first network (1) and the address 5 in the second network (2) are allocated. The second and third networks (2 and 3) are connected to each other by way of another gateway (GW2) for which the address 4 in the second network (2) and the address 3 in the third network (3) are allocated to build up a network system. A pass from within a network to another device in another network is represented in a compound representation using the addresses set in the individual networks. For example, the pass from the first device (A) in the first network 1 to the second device (H) in the third network (3) is represented as "4.4.2".

摘要: A mechanism is provided for controlling vehicle ignition lock and transmission shift lock in an interlocked relation to each other. The mechanism comprises a lock member movable into a lock position for blocking up a passage to a Park position of a position plate. An operating member drives the lock member into the lock position in response to upward movement of a position pin in the Park position. A stopper of an ignition lock is movable between a lock position for preventing rotation of a key rotor into a lock position and an unlock position for allowing the same. A cable interconnects the lock member and the stopper to allow them to move in unison such that movement of the lock member into the lock position causes the stopper to move into the unlock position and movement of the stopper into the lock position causes the lock member to move into the unlock position. A spring is installed in the ignition lock for urging the stopper toward the lock position.

摘要: A toner for electrostatic image developing is disclosed. It is prepared by giving a mechanical impact force to radically polymerized particles containing a colorant and a low molecular weight polyolefine so as to have the low molecular weight polyolefine exist at a ratio of 5 to 40% by number on a surface of the particles. The toner has a uniform and good electrification property, high fixability and no offsetting property.

摘要: An hour chime clock has an hour-indicating hand and a plurality of display units disposed circumferentially around the hour-indicating hand at different hour positions. The display units are displaceable between two positions to display either an ornament or an hour numeral. At each hour, a melody chimes and the display units undergo a predetermined pattern of movements. After chiming the hour, the display unit at the present hour position is placed in a different display state from the display state of all the other display units.

摘要: A process of the present invention comprises dissolving rhodium black in sulfuric acid under heating, making the pH of the said sulfuric acid solution neutral or basic by adding an alkaline solution to the said sulfuric acid solution to precipitate rhodium as rhodium hydroxide, separating the rhodium hydroxide and dissolving it in nitric acid.The process is useful for preparing the rhodium nitrate solution which is not decomposed by heating or concentration to produce turbidity, and produces almost no changes when it is allowed to stand at room temperature for a long period of time. Since the rhodium nitrate solution has the excellent heat-stability and endurance for long term storage, the said solution can be employed as a useful rhodium source which does not decompose for a variety of applications.

摘要: A digital timepiece operates in a normal mode and in a set mode for setting time. A keyboard is sequentially actuated for carrying out a switching operation, an entering operation to enter time data to be set, and an executing operation. A counter is connected to the keyboard for producing a first output when the entering operation is not initiated within a relatively short interval after carrying out the switching operation and producing a second output when a relatively long interval lapses after the initiation of the entering operation. A control circuit is connected to the keyboard and to the counter for switching from the normal mode to the set mode in response to the switching operation and for switching from the set mode to the normal mode in response to either of the first and second outputs. A register is connected to the keyboard and operates in the set mode for setting time in response to the executing operation according to the entered time data when the entering operation is completed within the relatively long interval.
