    摘要: A neutral biasing mechanism in a working vehicle includes a cam connected to an operating shaft of a continuously variable transmission and provided with a concave cam section, an operator swingable about an axis of a swing shaft and configured to operate the cam to a neutral orientation by pressing the cam section, and biasing members configured to bias the operator such that the operator swings in a direction in which the operator presses the cam section. Some of the biasing members are connected to a first connection point that is in the operator, and the other biasing members are connected to a second connection point that is in the operator and is different from the first connection point.

    摘要: A continuous variable planetary (CVP) system includes a CVP hub, which includes a shift mechanism including a shift driver element, and a processing server system to calibrate the CVP system and detect errors within the CVP system. The processing server system performs continuously monitoring or obtaining a transmission speed ratio of the CVP hub. Upon detecting that the transmission speed ratio reaches a particular value, the processing server system records a corresponding position of the shift driver. The processing server system calibrates the CVP system based on the particular value, the corresponding position, and a known relationship between transmission speed ratios and positions of the shift mechanism. The processing server system determines or verifies a full underdrive (FUD) position by iteratively reducing a transmission speed ratio from the particular value until an onset of a backlash condition is detected and determines or verifies a full overdrive (FOD) position.

    摘要: A variable speed transmission of the continuously variable type. The transmission includes an input pulley having primary and secondary sheaves and an output pulley having primary and secondary sheaves. The primary and secondary sheaves of the input pulley are mounted on a first axle shaft carried by an actuator plate and the primary and secondary sheaves of the output pulley are carried on a second axle shaft carried by the actuator plate. The input shaft of the transmission carries pin mounted roller bearings which are received in skewed slots in an actuator sleeve so that the actuator sleeve is moved axially along the input shaft in response to variations in torque loading. The actuator plate is annular and includes a central circumferential groove receiving pin mounted roller bearings carried by the actuator sleeve so that the actuator plate, and the axle shafts carried thereby, undergoes the same axial movement as the actuator sleeve in response to variations in torque loading. One sheave of each pulley is fixedly mounted on the respective axle shaft and the other sheave is slidably and rotatably mounted on the shaft. The mounting of the pulleys on the respective axle shafts is such that axial movement of the actuator plate has the effect of moving the sheaves of one pulley apart and simultaneously moving the sheaves of the other pulley together whereby to cause the entrained drive belt to move radially outwardly relative to the sheaves of one pulley while moving radially inwardly with respect to the sheaves of the other pulley whereby to change the drive ratio of the transmission.

    摘要: A variator (10) is disclosed which has two races (12, 12) mounted for rotation about a common axis. Opposed, shaped faces (14, 18) of the races define an annular space containing at least one roller (38, 40) which runs upon the races to transfer drive between them. The roller is mounted on a carrier (42, 44) in such a way that its inclination to the common axis is able to change, to enable changes in variator ratio. The rollers and their carriers are controlled through a mechanism comprising a sun (46, 48) and a ring (50, 52) with which the carrier engages. Relative rotation of the sun and ring causes a tipping motion of the carrier (42, 44), so that the rollers steer themselves to a new inclination. To control the sun and ring, there is provided a planet (100) which engages them both. The rotational position of the carrier is controlled independently of its engagement with the sun and the ring.
