Abstract:
According to some embodiments of the invention, a connector is provided for connecting any combination of an analog video source to either an analog display or a digital display or a digital video source to either an analog display or a digital display. Some preferred connectors have a serial differential digital interconnect that is pin/connector compatible with analog VGA or DB15. Some implementations of the invention provide a system and method for determining the inherent digital versus analog capability of a video source and a video display and configuring a connector according to the determination. Some implementations provide real-time display image quality assurance. Some embodiments provide a digital monitor with digital data streams having more than 8 bits per color, e.g., 10 bits or 12 bits per color.
Abstract:
In a digital display device, a packet based method of driving selected pixel elements by way of associated data latches included in a column driver is disclosed. For each frame lines in a video frame, a number of video data packets are provided directly to the column driver at a link rate and each of the number of data latches are populated with appropriate video data based upon video data packets within a line period τ. Selected pixel elements are driven based upon the video data.
Abstract:
A molecular beam source for use in accumulation of organic thin-films which enables the forming of a uniform thin-film on film-forming surfaces of a large-sized substrate, but without producing deposition or separation of a film-forming material in an opening for discharging molecules of the film-forming material, wherein a valve 33 is disposed in a space starting from a side of a molecule heating portion 12 and reaching to a molecule discharge opening 14 for discharging the generated molecules of the film-forming material towards a film-forming surface and, further, heaters 18 and 19 are provided at a side of the molecule discharge opening 14 for heating the molecules of the film-forming material to be discharged. At the side of the molecule discharge opening 14 are provided an exterior guide 13 having a tapered guide wall and also an interior guide 16 having a tapered guide wall is provided within an inside of the exterior guide. Between the exterior guide 13 and interior guide 16, there is formed a molecule discharge passage 17 in which the diameter thereof gradually increases along a direction of the discharge of the molecules therefrom. The heaters 18 and 19 are provided on the exterior guide 13 and the interior guide 16, respectively and, further, there is provided a heater 20 penetrating through the molecule discharge opening 14, whereby narrowing and/or blockage hardly occur in the discharge opening.

An integrated packet based display interface arranged to couple a multimedia source device to a multimedia sink device is disclosed that includes a transmitter unit coupled to the source device arranged to receive a source packet data stream in accordance with a native stream rate, a receiver unit coupled to the sink device, and a linking unit coupling the transmitter unit and the receiver unit arranged to transfer a multimedia data packet stream formed of a number of multimedia data packets based upon the source packet data stream in accordance with a link rate between the transmitter unit and the receiver unit.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is to provide a CCM calculating system being relatively inexpensive and alleviating the necessity of a spectrophotometer, a CCM calculating method and a recording medium. A CCM calculating system according to the invention calculates a blending ratio of colorants based on stored color data 16. The system has an input device 5(20b) for inputting data of color specification values corresponding to a desired target color; and a data operation unit 1(20c) for calculating a blending ratio of colorants for reproducing the target color, based on the input data of color specification values and stored color data. Since the blending ratio of colorants for reproducing the desired target color may be calculated based on the input color specification value data and stored color data, such CCM calculation may be performed without the necessity of a spectrophotometer.
Abstract:
A bead type noise filter according to the present invention is constituted by a magnetic core 1 formed of Mn—Zn ferrite having its resistivity increased so as to improve a high frequency characteristic, and having its permittivity lowered, and thereby can successfully suppress radiation noises without distorting the waveform of transmission signals. The magnetic core 1 constituting the bead type noise filter is formed of a high resistivity soft magnetic material, is shaped cylindrical, and has at least one through-hole 1a so as to form a closed magnetic path, and the bead type noise filter is attached on a signal line 2 such that the signal line 2 is inserted through the through-hole 1a. The soft magnetic material has a real part of complex relative permittivity ranging from 1,000 up to 20,000 at 1 kHz and 50 or lower at 1 MHz, and has a resistivity of 150 Ωm or higher.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic wave absorber is formed of an Mn—Zn ferrite including: a spinel primary phase which contains 40.0 to 49.9 mol % Fe2O3, 4.0 to 26.5 mol % ZnO, and the remainder consisting of MnO; and a secondary phase which contains CaO as a base component. In the ferrite, the spinel primary phase accounts for 50.0 to 99.0% of the aggregate mass of the spinel primary phase and the secondary phase.
