摘要: A liquid crystal light deflector includes a first electrode layer including line electrodes, a second electrode layer including a common electrode, and a liquid crystal layer that forms an electrical prism using liquid crystal molecules according to an electric field formed between the first and second electrode layers. The orientations of the liquid crystal molecules may be reset by an electric field formed between line electrodes of adjacent channels within the first electrode layer. A method of deflecting light includes controlling the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer to reset the orientation of the liquid crystal molecules prior to forming an electrical prism in the liquid crystal layer.

摘要: The disclosure discloses an array substrate, a liquid crystal panel, and a process of fabricating the array substrate. The array substrate includes an orientation film, an upper electrode, a lower electrode, and an intermediate electrode located between the upper electrode and the lower electrode, wherein the intermediate electrode is configured to have drive voltage applied thereto when there is zero relative voltage between the upper electrode and the lower electrode, so that an electric field is generated between the intermediate electrode and the lower electrode, and a direction of the electric field is parallel to an orientation direction of the orientation film.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display element using a liquid crystal composition having negative dielectric anisotropy, which is capable of realizing excellent display properties by being used in an FFS mode liquid crystal display element without deteriorating various properties, as a liquid crystal display element, such as dielectric anisotropy, viscosity, a nematic phase upper limit temperature, nematic phase stability at low temperature, and γ1, and burn-in characteristics of the display element.Provided is an FFS mode liquid crystal display element using an n-type liquid crystal composition so as to achieve the above object.

摘要: According to an aspect, a display device has a first electrode, a second electrode and liquid crystal layer. When a voltage is not applied to the first and second electrodes, the major axes of the liquid crystal molecules are oriented in a third direction. When a voltage is applied between the first and second electrodes, the major axes are oriented so as to rise in a direction perpendicular to a first substrate while rotating clockwise in a vicinity of one of long sides of comb tooth portion that face each other and counterclockwise in a vicinity of the other of the long sides. An angle between an electrode base-side portion of a long side of each comb tooth portions and the third direction is larger than an angle between a distal end-side portion of the long side of each comb tooth portions and the third direction.

摘要: A blue phase liquid crystal module, a blue phase LCD and the manufacturing are disclosed. The blue phase liquid crystal module includes an up substrate; a down substrate opposite to the up substrate; and blue phase liquid crystals between the up substrate and the down substrate. The down substrate includes at least one wave-shaped insulation layer being arranged with respect to the up substrate and the down substrate. The reflective layer is arranged in a portion of the down substrate. Pixel electrodes and common electrodes are arranged alternately at valleys and at peaks of the wave-shaped insulation layer, and the blue phase liquid crystals are driven by at least one slant electrical field generated between the pixel electrode and the common electrode.

摘要: An array substrate and a liquid crystal display panel. Multiple pixel electrodes are formed on the array substrate and arranged as a matrix. Multiple protrusion structures are formed on each of the pixel electrodes. Wherein, in a row of the pixel electrodes, distances between the protrusion structures on the pixel electrodes at two sides are greater than distances between the protrusion structures on the pixel electrodes at middle. The uniformity of the screen brightness of the present invention can be improved.

The spatially non-uniform electrode structure enables the generation of a predetermined spatially non-uniform electric field profile where complex capacitive coupling between multiple different electrically floating neighboring electrode segments is employed for the generation of the electrical field of desired form by supplying an initial electric potential to a limited number of electrodes.
