Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information (DCI) scheduling multiple physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources for a set of uplink data messages. In some examples, the scheduled PUSCH resources may overlap with reserved or preconfigured uplink resources. The UE may determine, in accordance with a multiplexing configuration, a multiplexing schedule for multiplexing the scheduled PUSCH resources with the reserved or preconfigured uplink resources. The UE may transmit the set of uplink data messages on one or more of the scheduled PUSCH resources based on the multiplexing schedule. The described techniques may enable the UE to transmit the set of uplink data messages with improved reliability based on reducing a number of collisions between the set of uplink data messages and other uplink signals transmitted on the reserved or preconfigured uplink resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications provide techniques for multiplexing, in a frequency domain, a synchronization signal block (SSB) and a control resource set (CORESET) to form a multiplexed block that is transmitted using a set of symbols. A base station may transmit multiple multiplexed blocks using multiple different beams with a switching gap provided between each multiplexed block that allows for switching of radio frequency (RF) components between different beams. The switching gap is longer than a duration of a cyclic prefix (CP) that is associated with each symbol of the set of symbols of each multiplexed block. Within one or more of the multiplexed blocks, an associated SSB may use a different waveform than the CORESET. The multiplexed blocks may use a common reference signal for both the SSB and CORESET.

A user equipment (UE) may identify a configuration for a set of bandwidth part groups including an intra-group switching delay and an inter-group switching delay, where the intra-group switching delay is smaller than the inter-group switching delay. The UE may communicate with a base station on a first bandwidth part of a first bandwidth part group of the set of bandwidth part groups. The UE may switch to a second bandwidth part of the first bandwidth part group based at least in part on the intra-group switching delay, or the UE may switch to a third bandwidth part of a second bandwidth part group based at least in part on the inter-group switching delay. The UE may communicate with the base station on the second bandwidth part or the third bandwidth part based on switching.

Abstract: A RAN node can indicate to a UE that a compact measurement report is to be used for beam measurements in a measurement report. A compact measurement report uses beam index numbers to indicate a position in a reference set. The reference set has a listing of resource indicators for beam measurements. As such, a reported beam measurement associated with a beam index number is also associated with the resource indicator positioned in the reference set indicated by the beam index number. The beam index numbers can be transmitted using fewer bits than are used for a resource indicator. The payload for a measurement report such as a L-SINR or L-RSP L1 measurement report is thereby reduced when the measurement report is transmitted as a compact measurement report.

The UE may determine, based at least in part on the BWP switch, whether to monitor one or more second dynamic CORESETs, subsequent to the first dynamic CORESET, that were configured in the first BWP. The UE may selectively monitor the one or more second dynamic CORESETs based at least in part on determining whether to monitor the one or more second dynamic CORESETs.
