    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of a plurality of beams received by the UE. The UE may receive a message indicating at least a first resource set associated with one or more first beams from the plurality of beams and a second resource set associated with one or more second beams from the plurality of beams. The UE may transmit a report indicative of a level of correlation between pairs of individual beams, each pair including a first individual beam of the one or more first beams and a second individual beam of the one or more second beams, and the UE may communicate with the base station via a selected beam of the one or more first beams or the one or more second beams.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a transmission configuration state for receiving downlink channel transmissions from a base station via a configurable surface. The transmission configuration state may indicate a quasi-co-location source associated with transmission via the configurable surface. The UE may receive a downlink channel transmission via the configurable surface based on the transmission configuration state and the quasi-co-location source. The UE may be capable of determining whether the transmission configuration state conflicts with the quasi-co-location source indicated by the transmission configuration state. The UE may transmit an indication to the base station that the configuration for the transmission configuration state conflicts with the quasi-co-location source. The indication may include a beam failure indication or a measurement report. The UE may fall back to a transmission configuration state previously activated at the UE.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for precoder matrix quantization for compressed channel state information (CSI) feedback. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI report configuration for frequency domain compressed precoder matrix feedback. The CSI report configuration configures the UE to report, for a plurality of selected beams at a plurality of time domain taps, a frequency domain compression basis vector and a plurality of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression. For each of the beams, the UE groups the time domain taps into at least first and second groups. The groups each can have zero, one, or more than one time domain taps. The UE quantizes the corresponding linear combination coefficients and/or frequency domain compression basis vectors based on the grouping.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit sounding reference signals to sound over ports of a channel. The UE may be configured to receive a message to trigger transmission of at least one sounding reference signal (SRS) of at least one SRS resource set for sounding over an active bandwidth part (BWP) in an upcoming slot, the upcoming slot being offset by a number of available slots from a reference slot indicated by the message.
