Abstract:
Printing apparatus includes: a printer (thin-film carrier, conveyer, and droplet discharger) printing on a thin film by discharging, while shifting thin film in first direction, droplets containing a functional component from a plurality of positions differing from each other in second direction; and a print uniformity controller (print controller and position switcher) performing the printing for a plurality of times, by using the printer and changing position and/or orientation of thin film relative to the plurality of positions.
Abstract:
Provided is a cosmetic container containing an antimicrobial impregnating material made of a polycaprolactone polyol foam in an antimicrobial sealed container, and more particularly, an antimicrobial cosmetic container containing an antimicrobial material which may reinforce disadvantages of polyester polyol foam- and polyether polyol foam-type impregnating materials, such as water resistance (hydrolysis resistance) and oil resistance and inhibit the proliferation of microorganisms.
Abstract:
A system and method of forming a stack of pads, wherein each of the pads is rotationally askew with respect to its immediate neighbors in the stack. A cutting wheel is provided with cutting forms. The cutting forms are rotated by an offset angle, relative each adjacent cutting form. The cutting wheel is run over material to cut pads. Each of the pads sequentially cut is rotationally offset by the same offset angle as are the cutting forms. As the pads are cut, the pads are sequentially placed into a vertical stack. Each of the pads in the vertical stack is offset from immediately adjacent pads by the offset angle. The pads are formed into shapes that are mostly circular but have recessed areas that create salient points on the pads. The offset angles of each of the pads enables these salient points to be readily grasped.
Abstract:
Disclosed are composition and methods for treating skin whereby a cosmetic composition is applied to a target area of skin. The cosmetic composition comprises an effective amount of a skin active agent. A barrier patch is also provided and has a backing layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive. The barrier patch has an adhesive release force of about 50 gms to about 400 gms; a WVTR from about 1 g/m2/24 h to about 500 g/m2/24 h; and a flexibility from about 8 grams to about 40 grams.

Abstract:
Cosmetic facial treatment delivery sheets with both personalized skincare benefit agents and customized iontophoresis micro-current zones are provided for delivering skincare treatments to multiple targeted areas of the skin to treat different concerns of an individual user. The sheets are made by printing skin benefit agents on a dissolvable or non-dissolvable substrate and then printing micro-current generators with power sources in different locations on the substrate. The micro-current generators facilitate delivery of the benefit agents by iontophoresis, or directly affect treatment by delivery of micro-current to the skin.
Abstract:
A method for cosmetic treatment of a mesh of hair, the method, including abrading the hair mesh by mesh by using a composition having abrasive particles applied onto the mesh and manually exerting pressure along the mesh during passes, the number of passes over a mesh being greater than five passes, and applying a cosmetic treatment composition to the hair, before, after, and/or during abrasion of the hair.
Abstract:
This applicator for cosmetic products, or lipstick, is a single or multiple ply card with an embossed pattern that retains a sample of lipstick from a separate container. The pattern shears lipstick from a tube onto the applicator. Also, the pattern assists a consumer in placing the cosmetic upon the applicator. In use, a woman selects a lipstick and moves the applicator, with the raised pattern, or field, down, across the lipstick source. The lipstick collects between the embossing of the raised field. A woman folds the applicator, moves it to her mouth, and transfers the sample to her lips. Following use, a woman reverse folds the applicator and encloses the raised field and sample residue for disposal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for applying at least one product at a de-sired place or spot. The device comprises several layers, where an impermeable top layer (1) and an impermeable bottom layer (4) will form the outer surfaces of the device, between which two outer surfaces a storage layer (3) and a contact layer (2) are arranged. The bottom layer (4), storage layer and contact layer (2) are welded together inside their edges to form a closed storage chamber (10) for the product and further being connected (6) around their common edges, where at least a part of the bottom layer (4) outside and around the closed storage chamber (10) is cut away, in order to create a device with soft edges.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cosmetic method having an excellent secondary adhesion resistance effect. The cosmetic method of the present invention has a step of applying a cosmetic material on the skin, a step of pasting the base material film surface of a thin film on the skin, and a step of removing the support body of the pasted thin film, wherein the thin film consists of a base material film of the thickness of 10 to 500 nm and a support body.
Abstract:
The improved substance applicator delivery container includes a substance applicator component infused or impregnated with a desired scent, perfume, essential oil, or chemical substance and retained between two cover sheets of material that is substantially impermeable to the infused or impregnated substance. The two cover sheets are releasably bonded through a polymer adhesive surrounding the substance applicator. The substance applicator component may also be bonded to the bottom cover sheet through a semi-rigid to rigid polymer carrier component, which provides additional control for application of the substance. The polymer adhesive may be deposited in a chevron-shaped feature near the top edge of the packet to allow for controlled opening of the packet. Gripping ridges near the top edge of the packet further assist the controlled opening of the packet.
