A door closer assembly is configured to controllably close a door and to accommodate several door closer assembly installation configurations. The door closer assembly includes a housing that carries a pinion having a pinion shaft with a tri-lobe end portion. A closer arm having a tri-lobe opening is configured to receive the tri-lobe end portion of the pinion shaft in driving engagement. The tri-lobe end portion of the pinion shaft and the corresponding tri-lobe opening in the closer arm cooperate to limit the number of orientations that the closer arm may be connected to the pinion shaft.

A synchronization apparatus has at least two actuating apparatuses for moving a movable furniture part, and has a synchronization rod for synchronizing the movement of the at least two actuating apparatuses. A first end region of the synchronization rod can be connected to a first rotary part of the first actuating apparatus, and a second end region of the synchronization rod can be connected to a second rotary part of the second actuating apparatus. At least one rotary part of the actuating apparatuses has a spring-loaded contact-pressure part which bears against the end face of the synchronization rod.

A motor vehicle window lifter is provided with a twistable or bendable guide rail on which a driver to be coupled with a window pane is shiftably mounted and which includes fastening points which are connectable with fastening receptacles of a carrier element. Between the fastening receptacles of the carrier element at least one supporting point is provided. When bracing the fastening points of the guide rail with the fastening receptacles of the carrier element, the guide rail supports on the supporting point and twisting of the initially straight guide rail with a specified degree of twisting and/or bending of the guide rail with a specified bending radius is effected.
