摘要: A device for generating shear waves in the earth for seismic prospectives, comprising a target member coupled with the earth, a vehicle carrying a mass and means for driving and guiding the mass along a direction perpendicular to the striking surface of the target member and parallel to the earth surface, said means comprising a toothed wheel in mesh with a driving chain and a counterweight for balancing the mass. According to a particular embodiment, the target member is so designed that at least a part of the vehicle weight can be applied thereon.

摘要: A process is described for the valorization of a charge of hydrocarbons and for reducing the vapour pressure of said charge, comprising three steps: a step a) consisting of separating said charge of hydrocarbons into a fraction (O1) comprising essentially compounds containing 5 carbon atoms, including at least 2% by weight of pentenes, a step b) consisting of placing said fraction (O1) in contact with a cut of hydrocarbons (O2) at least partly comprising hydrocarbons having a number of carbon atoms between 6 and 10, including at least 2% by weight of olefins, and a step c) consisting of separating the effluents originating from step b) into a gasoline cut (α) the upper distillation point of which is less than 100° C. and a kerosene cut (β) having a distillation range between 100° C. and 300° C.

摘要: The invention concerns IM-5 zeolite with a chemical composition with the following formula, expressed in terms of the mole ratios of the oxides for the anhydrous state: 100XO.sub.2,mY.sub.2 O.sub.3, pR.sub.2/n O where m is 10 or less; p is in the range 0 to 20; R represents one or more cations with valency n; X represents silicon and/or germanium; Y represents one or more of the following elements: aluminum, iron, gallium, boron and titanium. The zeolite is characterized by an Xray diffraction diagram, in its as synthesized state, which comprises the results shown in Table 1 of the description. The invention also concerns the preparation of the zeolite, any catalyst containing the zeolite and any catalytic process using such a catalyst.

摘要: A lifting device is provided for rapidly coupling and uncoupling a floating load, such as a boat, when it is set afloat or raised from the water. It includes essentially a hook secured to the load and a coupling element connected by cables to a lifting appliance. The concavity of the hook is turned downwards. Its section is trapezoidal and tapers towards its tip. The coupling element includes two arms whose facing walls are slanted and guide the hook towards the central housing. Springs, disposed laterally in the housing, come to bear against the lateral slanting faces of the hook and prevent it from leaving again.
