The invention relates to a vehicle surface component, which can be attached to a vehicle in an exterior arrangement and has a solar cell arrangement, which is connected on its inner side to a carrying layer and is provided toward the outer side of the vehicle with an outer layer. A particularly light and stable vehicle surface component is obtained according to the invention by the carrying layer being produced in the manner of a composite lightweight construction.

The invention relates to a device for covering a cargo space (12) of a motor vehicle, said cargo space being bordered by an outwardly pivotable vehicle lid (14), in particular a trunk lid, said device comprising an extractable roller blind device (26, 22, 24) which can be driven at least in the retraction direction and which forms a roller blind web (22) which extends over an area in its extracted state between a first end (26) of the roller blind and a second end (24) of the roller blind, and first and second positioning means (32, 34, 31) arranged in the vehicle for positioning the first and/or second ends (26, 24) of the roller blind(s) by means of which the roller blind web (22) can be extracted into a covering position in which the roller blind web (22) extends essentially horizontally over the cargo space (12). The roof locking apparatus (70) is structured such as to work with the link mechanism (10).

The invention relates to a mechanism for generating pivot motions and displacement motions of a chassis component (30), having a displaceable carriage (40) engaging with at least one first guide element (361) disposed on the chassis component by means of at least one second guide element (42, 44, 46). In order to simplify the mechanism according to the invention, the displaceable carriage (40) has at least two second guide elements (42, 44, 46) acting together with the first guide element (361) in the closed position and during the pivot motion of the chassis component (30), and acting together with a further first guide element (362) associated with the chassis component (30) during a displacement motion of the chassis component (30). The invention is in particular suitable for the panel of a sliding tilting sunroof of a vehicle.

The present invention relates to a vehicle roof with a roof opening (12) and with a roof section (10) having a roof tip (16) pointing to the front of the vehicle (14) and a roof end (18) pointing to the rear of the vehicle (12). The roof section (10) can be moved along guide tracks (23), which run on both sides of the roof opening, out of a closed position, which closes the roof opening (2), into an open position, which at least partially opens up the roof opening. In order to optimize the vehicle roof to the effect that, in the partially open position and/or during the opening movement while under way, only very low travelling noises, if any at all, are produced and the highest requirements with regard to the sealing in the closed position are met, the opening movement from the closed position of the roof section begins with a movement of the roof end (18) into a lowered position below the roof opening (2).

The invention relates to a vehicle roof of a motor vehicle that is provided with a roof opening system comprising at least one cover element for selectively closing or at least partially opening a roof section. A wind deflector (20) is arranged in the front edge area (18) of the roof section, said wind deflector comprises a deflector element (22) that can be adjusted between a lowered idle state and an operational state and is pre-tensed in the direction of extraction. The extent of extraction can be adjusted by means of an adjusting device that comprises at least one flexible element (28A, 28B) which is fixed to a first end on the deflector element (22) and exerts a retaining force which is active in a downward manner on the deflector element (22). In order to provide a compact adjusting device having few components, the second end of the flexible element (28A, 28B) is mounted on the winding device, which is driven by means of an electric motor, on which the flexible element (28A, 28B) can be wound or the flexible element can be wound thereby.
