摘要: A cleat assembly mounting system includes a shoe sole with a curved underside portion with mounting holes. A cleat assembly for engaging a bicycle pedal is mounted to a curved underside portion of the sole. A shim between the sole and the cleat assembly has shim holes configured for alignment with the mounting holes. Each mounting hole is a slot extending in a first direction with a width less than its length. Each shim hole is a slot extending in a second direction with a width less than its length. The first and second directions are substantially orthogonal. Nut assemblies have one or more nuts for securing the cleat assembly using one or more threaded fasteners through the mounting holes and shim holes. The cleat assembly includes a spring housing, and a bottom plate configured to be secured to the shim and further configured to conformably receive the bicycle pedal.

摘要: The present disclosure concerns a ship provided with an installation for launching and recovering floating or submersible vehicles, that includes a lifting device having a set of cables that holds a basket configured to support the vehicle during launching and recovering operations, the cables being movable vertically between two positions, a high and a low position respectively. The basket includes an upper face that bears against a surface, referred to as a “contact surface”, of the lifting device, only when the cables are in the high position.

摘要: A computer-readable medium stores instructions including executing a first application. In response to a first configuration specification, the instructions configure a first choreographer, which requires at least one collector and at least one emitter and defines a sequence of processing stages. The first configuration specification specifies which available collectors, which available emitters will be used. The first configuration specification specifies, for each stage, which available processors will be invoked. The instructions include, in response to a reconfiguration request for the first application, pausing each of the at least one collector; subsequent to pausing the at least one collector, pausing each stage of the sequence of processing stages; subsequent to pausing the processors, pausing each of the at least one emitter; and subsequent to pausing the at least one emitter, configuring the first choreographer according to a second configuration specification.

摘要: A surgical tool includes opposing jaws, handles and at least one pressure sensor. Another aspect of a surgical tool includes opposing jaws with each having an organ-contacting surface area of at least 50 mm2. A further aspect of a surgical tool includes an electronic controller connected to at least one pressure sensor and automatically adapted to calculate or determine an organ-hardness from a sensor when jaws are moved to an organ-compressing position. In yet another aspect of a surgical tool, a pressure sensor is mounted to a pancreas-compressing surface and a displacement transducer or sensor is mounted to and/or located within a handle coupled to the surface, and an electronic controller is mounted to and/or located within the handle for calculating a hardness of a pancreas and/or other organ.

摘要: A method of a secure transaction without physical support of a security identifier and without a token includes recording on a biometric server a biometric profile linked intrinsically to a unique user, the profile being associated with at least one service identifier, recorded on a server distinct from the biometric server, the service identifier being accessible by the user, and during a transaction, acquiring the biometric profile of a user, in transmitting it to the biometric server for comparison with the biometric profiles recorded and in searching for a service associated with the profile and activating it on the service server. The step of recording a new user includes the time of receipt by a central server of a profile, the execution of a step of generating a temporary master random key.

摘要: A laser pulse includes a flat top shape. Another aspects provides a method and system for creating laser pulse amplification with a flat top and/or square shape, by only using phase modulation. In yet another aspect, a method and system create a flat top and/or square-shaped laser pulse in a reversible manner such that the stretched spectrum can be recompressed to their original duration with essentially no loss of pulse energy. A further aspect includes a method of making a fixed optic capable to creating flat top or square pulse amplification.
