摘要: A downhole power generating apparatus comprising a low pressure chamber, a floating piston, a high pressure chamber, a first flow through path, a second flow through path, and a turbine. The low pressure chamber includes an inlet and an outlet for cycling tubing fluid. The floating piston separates the low pressure chamber into an upper and lower section. The floating piston is cyclically responsive to a cycle of tubing fluid and another cycle of tubing fluid. The first flow through path couples a fluid from the lower section of the low pressure chamber to the high pressure chamber in response to a cyclical response of the floating piston. The second flow through path couples the fluid from the high pressure chamber to the lower section in response to another cyclical response of the floating piston.

摘要: Completion Systems and Methods to Perform Completion Operations are disclosed. A completion system includes a tubular having a wall that defines a flowbore within the tubular and extending into a zone of an annular region external to the tubular. The completion system also includes a first port disposed in the wall and configured to provide fluid communication between the flowbore and the annular region, and a communication path disposed at least partially within the wall and configured to provide fluid communication with an annulus of a well outside of the zone. The completion system further includes a second port disposed in the wall and configured to provide fluid communication between the flowbore and the communication path, a cover disposed over the second port and configured to prevent fluid communication during a fracturing operation, and a diverter seat disposed in the flowbore of the tubular uphole of the second port.

摘要: Fixed-cutter matrix bits comprising hardfaced elements on the gauge pads, and methods of manufacture and using. An example fixed-cutter matrix bit comprises a matrix bit body, a plurality of cutter elements secured at fixed locations to the matrix bit body, and a plurality of gauge pads disposed on the matrix bit body; wherein at least one of the gauge pads includes a hardfaced exterior surface. The hardfaced exterior surface may comprise a material selected from the group consisting of tungsten, niobium, vanadium, molybdenum, silicon, titanium, tantalum, zirconium, chromium, yttrium, boron, carbon, carbides thereof, nitrides thereof, borides thereof, oxides thereof, silicides thereof, and combinations thereof. The hardfaced exterior surface may be fused to the at least one gauge pad during the infiltration process of manufacturing the matrix bit body.

摘要: A system for scheduling and dispatching workload items between tasks can include an aggregated file structure and a task scheduler. The aggregated file structure comprises at least one logical partition with each partition having a secondary operating system and address spaces and a plurality of tasks executable therein. The task scheduler is executable from the primary operating system and can receive a service request from a task requesting an action from at least one other task and writing the action, a first task identifier, and at least one other task identifier to at least one private memory address associated with the other task or tasks. The service request action can be a start service request, a stop service request, a suspend service request, a resume service request, change the order of execution service request, or a change priority of executing tasks service request.
