    Abstract: A drilling fluid flowback tracking system and method for determining quantities and qualities of drilling fluid returned from the wellhead in drilling operations, providing a frame, a receiving pipe, a riser pipe, and a surge suppressor for conveying returned drilling fluid, a tapered fluid bin having a calibrated drain slot, which retains fluid at a level corresponding to the inflow rate of the fluid, and flow rate marks for visual correlation of the highest level of outflow with the flow rate of the inflow. Collection and retention of data is further provided through sensors in an inline sensor housing communicating through a data cable with a data collection unit. Remote access to the data collection unit is further provided through a data transceiver and remote data unit.

    Abstract: An oil separator device includes at least a first chamber and a second chamber. An air-oil mixture may enter the body via the first chamber and may impact one or more interior surfaces within the body thereby causing at least a portion of the oil to be separated from the air-oil mixture. The separated oil may be directed to an oil reservoir and permitted to exit the body via an oil outlet. The remainder of the air-oil mixture may be directed toward the second chamber and be permitted to exit the body as working air via an outlet in communication with the second chamber. The oil separator device may include one or more baffles disposed between one or more of the first chamber, the second chamber, and the oil reservoir. A connector tube including one or more cylindrical members may facilitate communication between the first and second chambers.

    Abstract: A self-cleaning temperature sensor comprises: a bellows coupled to a support structure; a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder; a sensor configured to measure a temperature of a fluid and extending from the pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder, wherein the sensor comprises an exposure end configured to contact the fluid during sensing by the sensor; sensor wires connected with the sensor and extending to a control system; and a self-cleaning system comprising: a hood having walls extending radially outward a distance along a central axis wherein the hood defines a first volume; and a cleaning brush integrated with or adjacent the bottom of the support structure. In a retracted configuration, the exposure end of the sensor is positioned at a retracted position a distance from cleaning brush, and, in an extended configuration, the exposure end of the sensor extends a distance along the central axis away from the retracted position.

    Abstract: A device for preventing abrupt blockage in blooie line of gas drilling includes a sand-storing tank body, which is connected to a rotating blowout preventer through a guiding tube, and a guiding three-way joint is set between the guiding tube and the sand-storing tank body and connected to a blooie line by a vertical guiding tube; the sand-storing tank body is connected to the blooie line by means of a gas discharge tube; a flap plate assembly is arranged at the position fronting straight onto the guiding three-way joint inside the sand-storing tank body, and configured to control the rock particles in the guiding tube to enter the sand-storing tank body, preventing blockage in the blooie line. The device can effectively solve the technical problem that the process of gas drilling for oil-and-gas exploration and development is prone to abruptly block the blooie line.
