Abstract:
A capsule (1) for preparing infusion beverages is described, composed of a containing tank (3) defining therein a room (5) adapted to contain a substance to be infused, the tank (3) being equipped with at least one opening (7) externally equipped on its perimeter with a circular edge (9) adapted to abut against a corresponding abutment edge (11) of a side wall of an infusion chamber (12) of a preparing machine inside which the capsule (1) is inserted, a surface face of the circular edge (9) being equipped with a sealing profile (15) composed of a first circular rib (17) and a second circular rib (19), the first and second ribs (17, 19) being concentric with respect to a main symmetry axis (S-S) of the capsule (1), each rib (17, 19) being flexible and the first and second ribs (17, 19) defining therebeween a seat (21) shaped as a circular crown adapted to house therein an end portion of the abutment edge (11) of the side wall of the infusion chamber (12).
Abstract:
A plastic closure device for a container for parenteral pharmaceutical products having a bottle provided with a neck is provided. The plastic closure device has an outer cap with tearable weakenings to allow tear-off removal of the outer cap and an inner cage provided with a head having a central opening. A skirt ending in a lower edge extends below the central opening. Retaining elements for permanent snap engagement on the neck of the bottle are provided at the lower edge. The outer cap is snap-engaged under the lower edge of the inner cage by coupling elements. The plastic closure device guarantees authenticity of the container and its tightness even in the event of tampering attempts.
Abstract:
A co-extruded cup made of plastic material, for producing a capsule for preparing infusion or soluble beverages is provided. The co-extruded cup has an inlet opening defined by an upper edge, a bottom provided with an outlet opening defined by a nozzle, and an inner base with a plurality of vertically protruding ridges. The co-extruded cup has a multi-layer wall having an outer layer, an inner layer and an intermediate gas-barrier layer extending from the upper edge to the nozzle. The bottom is devoid of radial reinforcing flaps, and the intermediate gas-barrier layer homogenously extends without interruptions from the upper edge to the nozzle.
Abstract:
A vial for fluid products, particularly pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and medical products has a containment body closed by a closing element removable along a predetermined breaking line, and an opening key slidingly fitted onto the closing element and prismatically rotationally engageable with the closing element to remove the closing element from the containment body. The opening key is prismatically engageable with the closing element by inserting prismatic protrusions of the closing element into special recesses of the opening key.
Abstract:
A method for producing a cup for a capsule for the preparation of infused or soluble beverages is provided. The method includes the steps of co-injection molding a cup of multilayer plastic material with an intermediate layer of the gas barrier type, the cup being a single body provided with a bottom having a nozzle, and an inner base including a completely closed central portion covering the nozzle, partially cutting the central portion to form at least one opening connecting the inside of the cup and the nozzle, and a further step of folding a portion of the cup between the opening and the nozzle towards the inside of the nozzle to form a deflector.
Abstract:
A capsule (1) for the preparation of infused or soluble beverages comprises a cup (2) suitable to contain a substance (11) to be infused or dissolved, provided internally with a base (33) provided with an outer edge (360) and a relief (320) between which is defined a depression (330) for the collection of the infused beverage. The capsule (1) comprises a disc (5) fixed in a peelable manner on the edge (360) so as to separate from it due to the effect of the pressure increase inside the capsule (1). The opening of the capsule (1) occurs as a result of the deformation of the disc (5) due to the pressure exerted by the fluid inside the capsule (1). Advantageously, the base (33), in correspondence of the depression (330), is provided with a plurality of supports (90, 91, 92) provided with a profile decreasing towards the depression (330), suitable to prevent the deformation of the disc (5) from interfering with the outflow of the beverage towards the opening (31).
Abstract:
A rubber sealing element for a plastic closing device is provided. The rubber sealing element has a discoidal cap head under which a cylindrical cap body extends, and a pierceable portion arranged in the center of the discoidal cap head. The discoidal cap head defines a head plane, and the pierceable portion is arranged on a raised plane with respect to the head plane. Advantageously, the rubber sealing element is easily accessible for disinfection.
Abstract:
A compostable capsule for making infusion or soluble beverages is provided. The compostable capsule has a cup in which an inner volume is defined. At least one substance to be infused or dissolved is contained in the inner volume. The cup has a bottom having an outlet opening, an inlet opening closed by a cover, and an inner base. The compostable capsule has an at least partially flexible sealing disc fastened on the inner base of the cup to ensure, with the cover, a seal of the inner volume. The cup, the cover and the sealing disc are made of a compostable material. Opening of the compostable capsule for outflow of a beverage is determined by an at least partial deformation of the sealing disc.
