The present invention is a method of forming a fiber reinforced thermoset composite boom section or pipeline. The method comprises first creating a form and coating the form with a wax layer. A plurality of fiber reinforced thermoset composite material layers is then formed over the form. After the thermoset composite material layers cure, the form is removed.

The device may be a strike indicator that may include a hollow body filled with trapped air, where the strike indicator includes a tab having an opening formed therein and a grommet made from a hard, durable material seated in the opening. Alternatively, the device may be a fishing lure that may be attachable to a fishing hook and having a hollow body filled with trapped air and an attachment mechanism for attaching the lure to the fishing leader and/or fishing line. For example, the fishing lure may be a fishing fly having a hollow body filled with trapped air. In either embodiment, the device may be made from a lightweight, resilient material, for example ethylene vinyl acetate or other similar thermoplastic material. Further, in either embodiment, the hollow body may be substantially sealed with a substantially water tight seal without any inlet or outlet to the hollow body, such that substantially no liquid can displace the trapped air.

Systems and methods provide a real-time data display and interface for a network device by loading a page in a browser (115), the page including an engine which is executed in the browser (120) and used to automatically load a definition file (125) from a remote source in response to content within the page. Widgets are instantiated for display in the interface, each making data requests (145) at intervals which are forwarded to one or more servers in communication with the network device. Requested data is received (160) and presented in the interface there by providing the user with dynamically updated data (165). An engine for driving such display comprises executable code configured to instantiate one or more widgets for rendering within the display of the real-time data interface. The engine further includes a reference to a definition file which defines prescribed parameters for one or more of the widgets.

A system for facilitating production of information material comprises a plurality of metadata nodes operable to process metadata describing the content of information material, and a data communications network for providing a facility for communicating the metadata between the metadata nodes. The metadata is represented as metadata strings describing the content or attributes associated with the information material. The metadata string includes a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) providing an address of a storage location of an associated metadata resource. The metadata string is communicable separately from the information material via the network and the associated metadata resource is accessible via the network using the resource identifier. The metadata string can be arranged to provide an indication of parameters describing the information material and identifiers such as UMIDs or the like which facilitate navigation of the information material. The associated metadata resource can be arranged to provide any further metadata having a substantial volume. By describing the associated metadata resource with a URI contained within the metadata string, the metadata resource is accessible from, for example a web browser. Accordingly the metadata resource does not need to be communicated with the metadata string, thereby substantially reducing a bandwidth requirement or data communications traffic required on the data communications network.

A system for manufacturing a composite riser section with a liner assembly having a longitudinal axis comprises a first support and a second support that hold the liner assembly in a horizontal position therebetween, and a plurality of rollers that rotate the liner assembly about the longitudinal axis.

The invention provides a chimeric CNS targeting polypeptide having a BBB-receptor binding domain and a payload polypeptide domain. The chimeric CNS targeting polypeptide can have a BBB-receptor binding domain consisting of a receptor binding domain from ApoB, ApoE, aprotinin, lipoprotein lipase, PAI-1, pseudomonas exotoxin A, transferrin, α2-macroglobulin, insulin-like growth factor, insulin, or a functional fragment thereof. Nucleic acids encoding a chimeric CNS targeting polypeptide are also provided. Further provided is a method of delivering a polypeptide to the CNS of an individual. The method consists of administering to the individual an effective amount of a chimeric CNS targeting polypeptide, said chimeric CNS targeting polypeptide comprising a BBB-receptor binding domain and a payload polypeptide domain. The method also can deliver a polypeptide to the lysosomes of CNS cells.
