    Abstract: A cryopump provides for high pumping speed of Type III gases. An open configuration of a frontal array provides high conductance of gases into a radiation shield which is shaped to focus gases toward a second stage array. The second stage array has an open configuration of baffles coated with adsorbent. Substantially all of the adsorbent has a direct line of sight to the radiation shield or to the opening in the radiation shield, and substantially all of the baffles are coated with adsorbent. In one form, the second stage cryopump array comprises an array of discs fanned to define a generally ball shaped envelope.

    Abstract: A sealing arrangement for a stator shroud segment is provided that includes a resilient seal to reduce air leakage and improve turbine engine efficiency. The stator shroud segment includes an outer shroud having a leading edge groove and a trailing edge groove, and a plurality of inner shrouds each having a leading edge hook and a trailing edge hook. The leading and trailing hooks of each of the inner shrouds are respectively engaged with the leading and trailing edge grooves of the outer shroud so as to connect the inner shrouds to the outer shroud. A resilient shaped seal is located on a leading edge hook of the inner shroud so as to be between the leading hook and a retaining ring that contributes to holding the inner shroud in place.

    Abstract: Third stage turbine buckets have airfoil profiles substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth Table I wherein X and Y values are in inches and the Z values are non-dimensional values from 0 to 1 convertible to Z distances in inches by multiplying the Z values by the height of the airfoil in inches. The X and Y values are distances which, when connected by smooth continuing arcs, define airfoil profile sections at each distance Z. The X, Y and Z distances may be scalable as a function of the same constant or number to provide a scaled up or scaled down airfoil section for the bucket.     Abstract: The present disclosure features methods and systems for enforcing parametric constraints in a direct modeling interface in computer-aided design (CAD). A parametric geometry engine of a CAD application may compare an attempted edit to a feature in a direct modeling user interface of the CAD application to an existing constraint created in a parametric modeling user interface, and, in one embodiment, prevent the user from completing the edit. In other embodiments, the parametric geometry engine may present a dialog box to the user and allow them to reject the edit, override or delete the constraint, modify the constraint, or take other actions as appropriate. In still other embodiments, the parametric geometry engine may allow one user to edit the feature, but not another user. Thus, parametric constraints and permissions-based ownership of entities may be enforced in a direct modeling user interface.
