Abstract:
Chalk holding devices for bicycles, scooters, skateboards and other wheeled apparatuses are provided. One exemplary embodiment includes a chalk holding device for attachment to a bicycle having a wheel and an axle with a first end and a second end. The chalk holding device has a chalk-receiving member for receiving chalk therein. The chalk holding devices also has first and second arms that extend from the chalk-receiving member towards the axle. The first arm has a first axle cup for receiving a first end of the axle and the second arm has a second axle cup for receiving a second end of the axle.
Abstract:
A cold brew apparatus and a method of making cold brew extract are disclosed. The cold brew apparatus includes a flexible brewing bag having an opening therein. Premeasured brewable ingredients (e.g., coffee grounds, coffee beans, tea leaves, etc.) are located in the brewing bag. The opening in the brewing bag is uncovered to allow a liquid (e.g., water) to be added to the brewable ingredients. The opening in the brewing bag is covered after the liquid has been added, and the brewable ingredients and the liquid are left to steep for a period of time (e.g., approximately 8-24 hours). After the period of time has elapsed, extract (e.g., coffee extract, tea extract, etc.) is poured out of the opening in the brewing bag.
Abstract:
The invention provides a laminate construction for heating or warming with one or more electrically conductive patterns of conductive ink or paste formed on a first confronting surface of an insulating sheet, where each pattern is connected by one or more conductive elements (bus wires), and where each pattern and the conductive elements are between the confronting surfaces of insulating sheets. The laminate may include one or more stretch and recovery elements to cause the laminate to be more adaptable for securing about any three dimensional body. The laminate with heating elements therein may be incorporated into garments or other wearables or into warming textile structures (pads and blankets).
Abstract:
A data comparison system includes a database containing target object information which is compared with an individual source object, defined by the user. Computer systems known in the art are utilized to hold the assembled target object database including all information that is available, complete with errors, inaccuracies, and so forth. This database is searched and the computer sorts the information after comparison so that target objects are sorted based on the degree of similarity with the source object. Both target and source objects are defined by object types, components of each object type, subjects of each component, and at least one answer, that is language independent, for each subject. That is, statements may be received and entered in any language and the data derived therefrom, however, is language independent so that the results can be universally applied.Further, the source object can, as will naturally be the case, be comprised of incomplete and partial object descriptions of components, subjects, and answers. Importantly, the system of the present invention further comprises a link for each object, component, and subject so that the objects, components, and subjects are uniquely identified within the database. The system of the present invention uses almost all information available, complete with errors and inaccuracies, to identify similarities between objects and/or events quickly and efficiently. Since more of the information is used in the search, and an exact match is not the goal, the results are more accurate and, therefore, more useful. As a result, analysts can use the resulting list of objects or events, ordered by degree of similarity, to the object or event in questions, to focus their identification efforts.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a device and/or a method of location and event capture circuitry to facilitate remote vehicle location predictive modeling when global positioning is unavailable. In one embodiment, a predictive circuit of a vehicle includes event detection circuitry to initiate a timer circuit of the vehicle when a wheel of the vehicle is in a stationary state beyond threshold amount of time during an event; an event categorization circuitry to monitor a telemetry data of the vehicle to assign a category to the event; a data communication circuitry to communicate the event, the category, and/or a set of other events and categories to a predictive recommendation server on a periodic basis; and a repossession detection circuitry to determine that the vehicle is pending repossession based on the event, the category, the set of other events and categories, and/or a message communicated from the predictive recommendation server to the predictive circuit.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to universal stands for portable electronic devices. In one embodiment, a stand includes a display platform and a gripping pad attached to the display platform for releasably securing a portable electronic device thereto.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a virtual reality medical procedure skills training simulator, particularly to be used in the field of ear-nose-throat surgery such as myringotomy. The simulator consists of medical procedural tools marked with physical markers, a tracking device to track the marker, a stereo display device to simulate a medical procedural microscope, and a computer system to enable the simulation.
