Abstract:
The display includes a transparent display (TD) element or layer such as at least one Transparent Organic Light Emitting Diode (TOLED) element and at least one active shutter (AS) element or layer such as a liquid crystal shutter. The AS may be opaque or transparent. The TD may be transparent or display or emit light in mixtures of color. Black may be displayed by a TD pixel by having the TD be transparent and turning an AS opaque. Each display is composed of elements that can have many states. The states can be used to create different display modes. Devices with these displays can have many form factors and configurations. These devices may change display modes based on spatial context as determined by any one of various environmental and configuration sensors.

Abstract:
In general, the invention relates to methods and systems that record the location of a user and transmit targeted content to a user based upon their current and past location information. A network includes a server programmed with a database of location information, a database of user information, and a wireless communication system capable of communicating with the user's mobile device. The location of the mobile device is ascertained and recorded. The location information is analyzed to determine the businesses visited by the user, and other behaviors of the user. The system has access to the reported locations of a plurality of mobile devices. This aggregate location information is used in order to determine which business locations are currently popular, busy, or not busy.
Abstract:
Methods and systems that record the location of a user and transmit targeted content to a user based upon their current and past location information. A network is configured to include a server programmed with a database of targeted content, a database of location information, a database of user information, a database searching algorithm, and a wireless communication system capable of communicating with the user's mobile device. The location of the mobile device is ascertained and recorded. The location information is analyzed to determine the routes taken by the user, businesses visited by the user, and other behaviors of the user. Targeted content is sent to the mobile device of the user and whether the user visits the physical locations associated with the targeted content is monitored. Payment systems, phone exchange systems, and other features may also be integrated to provide detailed conversion tracking to producers of targeted content and business owners.
Abstract:
There are disclosed imaging members wherein a chemical compound in a crystalline form is converted, at least partially, and preferably substantially completely or completely, to an amorphous form that has intrinsically a different color from the crystalline form. Also described are imaging methods utilizing the imaging members. The conversion of the compound from the crystalline form to an amorphous form can be effected by laser exposure.
Abstract:
An intelligent monitoring device including a processor and an accelerometer and/or a device that includes at least one processor and at least one image sensor. The intelligent monitoring device is configured to observe at least one machine. The intelligent monitoring device is further configured to utilize its processor, or the processor of a coupled system, to recognize actions carried out on or by the at least one machine and infer the state of the machine. The intelligent monitoring device or the coupled system is further configured to provide alerts or help respond to queries about the status of the at least one machine. For example, the intelligent monitoring camera will infer the state of a washing machine based on its observations and provide an alert (optionally only to the user recognized to have loaded the washer) when the washing machine is ready to be unloaded.
Abstract:
The inventive devices may be produced in various form factors including single display element form factors, dual element form factors, or form factors that incorporate one or more flexible panels instead of hinged flat panels. The devices also include sensors to determine the device configuration. The devices may be placed into various configurations including an upright laptop, stand, tent, small tablet, large tablet, dual monitor display, or book configuration. These devices may change display modes based on the current device configuration, the current task being performed on the device, and/or spatial context as determined by any one of various environmental and configuration sensors. Different display modes include normal, presentation, sharing, augmented reality, tracing, scanning, unobstructed, ambient light, 2.5D/3D modes. Applications can be written that take specific advantage of the inventive display elements, display modes, device form factors, and device configurations.

Abstract:
Current Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) rely on numerous legacy systems that can be altered or fail. The disclosed devices, methods and systems, present technical solutions to this problem which improves the functionality of NFT systems by storing all relevant information in a blockchain. A NFT may be created that is associated with a Page. An author/owner of the Page may insert Posts by calling a function on a smart contract that created the NFT. The Post is verified as coming from the owner of the Page and is placed into a logging or storage portion of a blockchain. People wishing to view the NFT may pull the logs or storage for the smart contract and obtain all content associated with that Page and optional Tag. Commands may also be placed in the Content to further modify the Page or organize the information. Posts can be used as building blocks.
