Blended compositions were discovered to be synergistically favorable for lowered toxicity and increased coagulating ability in the chemical precipitation of metal contaminants. Compositions may include, for example, polymeric DTC and TMT. Target metals may include, for example, heavy metals, such as copper, nickel, and mercury.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods for cleaning industrial equipment. In one example, a method for reducing microorganism from industrial equipment includes: (1) cleaning the equipment with one or more CIP compositions using a CIP process; (2) rinsing the equipment with water; (3) adding an enzyme composition into the CIP process; (4) analyzing a sample of the fluid within the CIP process before, after, or before and after the addition of the enzyme composition to detect microorganisms; and (5) modifying the CIP process in response to any detected microorganism.

Abstract: Linen treatment compositions and linen processes are disclosed which help to prevent iron deposition from wash water, and/or redeposition after iron containing stain (such as blood) removal by alkaline detergents. The linen treatment composition is a combination of a hydroxycarboxylic acid and an acid source, which may be organic or inorganic. The invention provides for effective iron control in a phosphorus-free formula that is also free of toxic or hazardous chemicals and includes sustainable, environmentally friendly ingredients, while still providing effective iron control.

Abstract: An automated cleaning machine includes a trained cleaning outcome classifier that automatically classifies or scores cleaning outcomes for a cleaning machine using machine learning techniques. The cleaning outcome classifier may be trained on training data comprising a plurality of training inputs and a known output for each of the plurality of training inputs. Each of the plurality of training inputs may include one or more cleaning process parameters corresponding to a cleaning process executed by a cleaning machine executed during a training phase. The known output for each training input may include a cleaning outcome classification or score. The cleaning outcome of a novel cleaning process may then be classified or scored with the trained cleaning outcome classifier based on one or more cleaning process parameters corresponding to the novel cleaning process.

Water may be drained through the foraminous surface, thus forming a sheet on the foraminous surface, which may be transferred to a felt, a belt, a fabric, or elsewhere.
