摘要： A method and apparatus for processing video and graphics data is accomplished by receiving display data that includes at least one of video data and graphics data. If the display data includes video data, the video data is converted into graphics formatted video data when a first control signal is in a first state. The graphics formatted video data, which is now in a format consistent with the computer monitor (e.g., an RGB video format), is then provided to the computer monitor based on the enablement of the first control signal. Alternately, or in addition to, the graphics data may be provided to the computer monitor. If the display data includes graphics data, i.e., computer generated data for display on a computer monitor, the graphics data is converted into video formatted graphics data when a second control signal is in a second state. In this conversion, the graphics data, which is in a RGB format, is converted into a video format, e.g., a YUV data format. Having made the conversion, the video data and/or the video format graphics data is provided to a television based on the second control signal.

摘要： Apparatuses and methods for handling a portion of a tissue sample when sectioned by a microtome. The apparatuses include a container, a tissue sample holder in the container, and one or more outlets configured to allow flow of a fluid from the container. The flow through the outlet causes a portion of the tissue sample sectioned by a microtome to move into the outlet. The methods include sectioning one or more portions of a tissue sample, and flowing a fluid past the tissue sample to cause the one or more portions of the tissue sample to move away from the tissue sample and toward at least one fluid outlet.

In one particular embodiment, the occlusion of the fallopian tubes by an intrafallopian contraceptive device may be confirmed by contrast enhanced ultrasonography (also known as stimulated acoustic emission hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography). In these embodiments a contrast agent containing microbubbles is used.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for installing control lines and pipe into a well. The pipe-holding spider that is normally mounted on the rig floor is supportably retained in a vertically movable retainer. The retainer is adapted for controllably elevating the spider above the rig floor when the pipe slips within the spider are not engaged with the outer surface of the pipe string, thereby providing personnel access to a portion of the length of the pipe string below the elevated spider and above the rig floor. Personnel are provided with access to the pipe string for applying a fastener to secure the control line to the pipe string.
