In one implementation, a cathode plate of a field emission display includes a cathode substrate of the field emission display and a plurality of emitter lines formed on the cathode substrate. In another implementation, an anode plate of a field emission display includes a transparent piece of the field emission display and a plurality of phosphor lines formed on the transparent piece. The plurality of phosphor lines are to be aligned with and receive electrons from a plurality of emitter lines of a cathode substrate of the field emission display.

    摘要: Flat panel displays, such as field emission displays (FEDs), plasma displays, liquid crystal displays (LCDs), and electroluminescent displays (ELs), are provided incorporating driver circuitry on the same substrate as the active display region of the display device and further reducing through-vacuum and substrate-to-substrate interconnects. In one implementation, an image display device comprises a substrate; an active display region formed on the substrate and including addressable rows and columns defining pixels; and one or more driver ICs on the substrate, respective outputs of each driver IC coupled to respective ones of the addressable rows and columns, the driver ICs adapted to drive the active display region to display an image. The device also comprises a wireless receiver coupled to the driver ICs, the wireless receiver adapted to wirelessly receive a wireless signal including an input video signal for display and couple the input video signal to the driver ICs.

In one embodiment, a method for controlled evaporation of solvent from at least one solution includes filling a selected first set of wells in a multi-well plate with a first solution comprising at least one first solvent. The method also includes attaching an inlet manifold to the plate, the inlet manifold comprising an inlet port connected to and in fluid communication only with each of the wells in the selected first set of wells. The method further includes attaching an exhaust manifold to the plate, the exhaust manifold comprising an exhaust port connected to and in fluid communication only with each of the wells in the selected first set of wells. The method also includes introducing a gas into the inlet port and removing solvent vapor from the selected first set of wells.

The plurality of linear isolation barriers are spaced at intervals such that electron emitter lines can be formed between respective ones of the plurality of linear isolation barriers. In one embodiment, the linear isolation barriers comprise ribs attached to the top surface of the cathode substrate. In some embodiments, the linear isolation barriers are adapted to contact gate wires of a gate frame of the field emission display positioned above the cathode substrate to dampen driving frequency vibrations in the gate wires.

In some variations, the FED includes a plurality of linear isolation barriers separating one or more of the plurality of emitter lines. In some variations, the linear isolation barriers are in the form of ribs or trenches.
