Abstract:
A battery conducting device for a motorized scooter includes a fixing seat, a permanent magnet movably mounted in the chamber of the fixing seat, a bolt movably mounted on the fixing seat and having a flat plate rested on the permanent magnet, and an electrode contact member rested on the flat plate and attracted by the permanent magnet so that the electrode contact member is bonded on the flat plate closely. Thus, the flat plate is connected to the electrode contact member constantly, so that the bolt is connected to the battery constantly, thereby connecting the battery to the motor power supply input successively so as to supply an electric power to the motorized scooter successively without interruption due to a shock or vibration.
Abstract:
A device connected to an interface has operational logic and power control logic. The device further has multiple power modes, including a first mode and a second, lower power mode. In the first mode, the operational logic is coupled to the interface, and is able to communicate over the interface. In the second mode, the power control logic is coupled to the interface, and the operational logic is decoupled, and substantially powered down. This provides a low interface power mode. In this mode, the power control logic monitors the interface for command activity. The power control logic returns the device to the first mode when the device must be in the first mode to process or reply to the command. The power control logic thus provides for the restoration of function from a low interface power mode without the need for a special “wake-up” command, thereby making the low interface power mode transparent to the host.
Abstract:
A process for removing catalyst fines from the wax product produced in a slurry Fischer-Tropsch reactor comprises removing the wax product from the reactor and separating the catalyst fines by passing the wax product through a high gradient magnetic field, whereby the catalyst fines are held by a magnetized filter element and the wax product passes through unhindered to form a purified wax product which is ready for upgrading. The separated catalyst fines are returned to the reactor by backwashing the filter element.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a container having a base for receiving a drive, and a clam having a first end that is rotatably coupled to the base, a second end, and a body extending from the first end to the second end, the clam rotatable relative to the base so that the clam can be placed at a first position and a second position, wherein when the clam is at the first position, the container allows the drive to be placed therein, and wherein when the clam is at the second position, the clam secures the drive relative to the container. A frame includes at least sixteen slots to receive respective drive storage devices, which store respective SFF8201 7 mm drives, in EIA RS310D 1U space. A frame includes at least forty-eight slots to receive respective drive storage devices, which store respective SFF8201 7 mm drives, in EIA RS310D 2U space.
Abstract:
A fixing structure for an electronic card is suitable for mounting a long electronic card or a short electronic card within a housing. The fixing structure includes a pressing plate, a locking slice, and a locking member. Two ends of the pressing plate have two buckling portions. The locking slice connects an end of the pressing plate and has a locking hole. Besides, the locking slice leans against the housing. The locking member passes through the locking hole and is fixed into a first fixing hole or a second fixing hole. When the locking hole corresponds to the first fixing hole, the two buckling portions are fixed onto a free end of the long electronic card. When the locking hole is corresponding to the second fixing hole, the two buckling portions are fixed onto a free end of the short electronic card.
Abstract:
A keyboard type input device used in conjunction with a wristwatch or a portable telephone has multiple key positions provided as character entry keys. Each key corresponds to one key in the selected row of the conventional QWERTY keyboard. A second set of control buttons provide for the selection of which row of a conventional QWERTY keyboard are represented by the character keys in addition to other functions such as case shift, and alpha-numerical control functions. A selected row is shown on a display, as visual feedback. Alternatively the keys are implemented as LCDs with pressure sensors and the characters of the selected row are displayed directly on the corresponding key positions. The keyboard finds particular use in portable devices as it demands less space than traditional keyboards.

Abstract:
A vehicle body includes a front frame, a rear frame, a control unit, a fixing screw, a battery, and a locking unit. Thus, the rear frame is combined with and detached from the front frame easily and rapidly, thereby facilitating a user assembling and disassembling the vehicle body. In addition, the fixing hooks of the front frame are snapped onto the fixing stubs of the rear frame, and the locking hook of the control unit on the support post of the rear frame is locked in the locking hole of the front frame, thereby forming a three-point support structure by the fixing hooks, the fixing stubs and the locking hook, so that the rear frame is combined with the front frame rigidly and stably.
