Abstract:
A device for detecting the movement of a movable component in that the position signals furnished by two position sensors are added to form a signal that is conducted through a line to an evaluation arrangement. The position ranges associated with the position sensors have an overlap region. Different discrete values are assigned to the position signals and can be evaluated easily in the evaluation arrangement.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for electronic monitoring of a positioning drive arranged in a motor vehicle are proposed, in which a processed speedometer signal is taken into account in an arrangement for making available at least one limit value of the closing force limiting system. This serves to prevent incorrect activation of the closing force limiting system.
Abstract:
A device for collision protection of projecting parts of motor vehicles has a controllable actuating mechanism at least for retracting and/or folding the projecting vehicle parts. At least one distance detection or proximity sensor, which is functionally connected to the actuating mechanism, is provided in the vehicle to detect the distance and/or the approach of an object with respect to the respective projecting vehicle part, and the actuating mechanism retracts or folds the respective vehicle part upon a detection signal delivered by the sensor and indicating a collision hazard with the object.
Abstract:
A method is described of operating a sliding roof system for a motor vehicle. The sliding roof system includes a sliding roof, a sliding roof drive with a sliding roof motor, a device for controlling the sliding roof drive, and a device for emergency displacement of the sliding roof. Operation of the device for emergency adjustment of the sliding roof is detected, and this information is relayed to the device for controlling the sliding roof drive. Such a sliding roof system is also described.
Abstract:
An electric motor drive for an automotive operating element for moving between at least two end positions. A range about at least one selected position of the operating element is established. The drive automatically moves the operating element into the selected position when the automotive operating element has reached the established range.
