摘要: To provide an optical disc device in which an identification and a disc ejection control processing for an optical disc with a high transmitting property and an 8-cm optical disc attached to an adapter can be effected easily and positively. There are provided a body capable of receiving an optical disc therein, an insertion/ejection port capable of insertion and ejection of the optical disc relative to the interior of the body, and rollers which are provided within the body, and rotate, while holding the optical disc therebetween, so as to convey the optical disc into the interior of the body. A mechanical detector, having a contact element for contact with at least one of obverse and reverse surfaces of the optical disc to detect the optical disc, is provided within the body so that an identification and a disc ejection control processing for optical discs can be effected easily and positively.

摘要: When storage of an optical disc in which information has been recorded is started, a pair of rollers rotate while holding the optical disc inserted through an insertion/ejection slot of a body of an optical disc device, so that the rollers convey the optical disc to the inside of the body. On this occasion, circumferential edge sensing units provided in the inside of the body sense a circumferential edge of the inserted optical disc continuously to thereby sense the outer diameter, shape and insertion state of the inserted optical disc. The optical disc is ejected when decision is made that there is abnormality.

摘要: An optical disk device has superior vibration characteristics by preventing vibration of a rotating arm. A desired optical disk is selected from the plurality of optical disks which are stacked and accommodated. The rotating arm is rotated to a working space provided for the desired optical disk. A turntable is positioned, and an optical head is moved to perform the recording/reproduction. Because the tip part of the rotating arm of a cantilever structure is supported by a support member extending along the axial line CL of the optical disk, it has a structure supported by both ends. Thus, the vibration of the rotating arm can be prevented. Because the support member extends along the axial line CL of the optical disk, it passes through a holding hole at the center of the optical disk and a notch provided at the center of a tray, without interference on its way, thereby supporting the rotating arm.

摘要: The invention provides a method of reusing an inert gas in a polymer production plant by removing impurities such as a polymerization solvent and polymerization monomers from an inert gas discharged from a polymer production plant. The method of reusing an inert gas comprises a step of adsorbing and removing a polymerization solvent and polymerization monomers contained in an inert gas by passing, through an adsorbent layer, an inert gas discharged from a polymer production plant, wherein an inert gas reaching a predetermined purity by removing the polymerization solvent and polymerization monomers in the step of adsorption and removal is reused in the polymer production plant.

摘要: A disc player device includes a tray transfer mechanism for transferring a tray, supporting a disc thereon, from a magazine, a clamper for holding the disc, and a clamper drive mechanism for transferring the clamper to a turntable. The disc is held by the turntable with the clamper transfer mechanism held out of contact with the clamper, and in this condition a playback of the disc is carried out. After the playback of the disc is finished, the disc is again clamped, and is returned to a predetermined position by the clamper transfer mechanism. The tray transfer mechanism, the clamper, the clamper drive mechanism are driven by a common motor.
