The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing interference between neighbor cells in a radio communication system, and to a method for same. The apparatus according to the present invention includes a receiving unit which receives receiving power information and signal-to-noise ratio information of a neighbor cell base station from multiple receiving antennas, a first determination unit for determining the number of major neighbor cell interference signals by using the received receiving power information and the signal-to-noise ratio information, a second determination unit for determining a candidate signal vector of a target signal in accordance with the determined number of major neighbor cell interference signals, the received signal-to-noise ratio, and the number of the multiple receiving antennas, a third determination unit for determining a candidate signal matrix of the major neighbor cell interference signals on the basis of the determined candidate signal vector of the target signal, and an estimation unit for estimating signals transmitted from the target base station or the neighbor base station by applying the determined candidate signal matrix of the major neighbor cell interference signals to the method of maximum likelihood.

A dual modem device includes a first processor to communicate with a first network and a second processor to communicate with a second network. The first processor includes a USB module to transceive a signal with a computer side using a universal serial bus (USB) interface, a first packet control block to determine a type of the signal transceived via the USB module and to decide a communication path, and a first function block to process a signal associated with the first network. The second processor includes a first control block to process a control signal for the first processor, a second control block to process a control signal for the second processor, and a second function block to process a signal associated with the second network.

Disclosed is a method for improving the wear- and corrosion-resistance of a chromium-plated steel substrate by heat-treating the chromium-plated steel substrate under optimum conditions to inhibit a drop in corrosion-resistance of a steel substrate due to fine cracks formed at a chromium layer, and to improve a hardness of the chromium layer. The heat-treating method comprises the steps of: plating the chromium layer onto the steel substrate; and heating the chromium-plated steel substrate in an oxidizing gas environment at above atmospheric pressure to form oxidized layers containing magnetite (Fe3O4) on the surface of the steel substrate, the surface of the steel substrate being partly exposed to the air through penetrating cracks formed in the chromium layer.In accordance with the heat-treating method, the chromium-plated steel substrate having excellent corrosion- and wear-resistance can be easily obtained by plating chromium onto the steel substrate, followed by oxidizing the chromium-plated steel substrate. In addition, the heat-treating method contributes to fewer defects, low manufacturing costs and long life span of chromium plating-related products.

The method for transmitting a signal while avoiding the influences of an interference signal in the same channel according to the present invention comprises: a process in which communication devices in the communication system perceive, in a distributed manner, whether or not an interference signal exists in a transmission channel being used; a process in which the communication devices in the communication system temporarily transceive signals using a plurality of available transmission channels other than the transmission channel currently being used so as to avoid an interference signal if the interference signal is perceived; and a process of determining the channel having a best link state as a transmission channel from among the plurality of used transmission channels and returning to an existing transmission system using a single channel.

An interference signal avoiding device of a frequency hopping spread system and a method thereof are disclosed. A method of transmitting/receiving an interference signal avoiding signal according to the present invention includes: determining a frequency hopping channel set and a parameter of an interference signal detector in consideration of characteristics of an interference signal; detecting whether there is an interference signal with respect to frequency hopping candidate channels that are to be used for the next frequency hopping by using the determined interference signal detector; transmitting a signal through a channel that is determined by the interference signal detector that there is no interference signal among the frequency hopping candidate channels; and searching a channel through which the signal is transmitted from the frequency hopping candidate channels in order to receive the transmitted signal.

In a wireless communication system, at least one sounding subchannel determining parameter is transmitted from a sounding signal receiving apparatus to a sounding signal transmitting apparatus. A sounding subchannel for the sounding signal transmitting apparatus is allocated according to the sounding subchannel determining parameter. A sounding signal is received from the sounding signal transmitting apparatus over the allocated sounding subchannel. The sounding subchannel determining parameter is determined for allocating a sounding subchannel considering a frequency correlation.

The display panel selectively displays an image corresponding to a first driving mode and a second driving mode using light from the light-providing unit. The panel driving unit includes a power supply, a data driver and a gate controller. The power supply includes a first power supply and a second power supply selectively outputting a first power voltage and a second power voltage corresponding to the first driving mode and the second driving mode. The second power voltage is smaller than the first power voltage.
