Abstract:
A machine for making single use capsules (1) for extract or infusion beverages comprises: a transport element (8) for transporting rigid containers (2) and configured to define a plurality of pockets (10) for receiving the rigid containers (2) and which are positioned one after the other, in succession, each having a respective vertical axis (Z10); a plurality of stations which are positioned along a path (P) followed by the transport element (8) and which are configured for operating in phase with the same transport element (8) and comprising: a feed station (11) for feeding the rigid containers (2) into respective pockets (10) of the transport element (8); a dosing station (12) for dosing the product into the rigid container (2); a closing station (13) for closing the rigid container (2) with a length of sheet (7); an outfeed station (14) which withdraws the capsules (1) from the transport element (8); the outfeed station (14) comprises a contact head (21) for contacting and picking a capsule (1) from a respective pocket (10) of the transport element (8) and placing the capsule (1) on a receiving table (20).

Abstract:
A machine (100) for making filter bags (1) for infusion products comprises: a station (2) for feeding a first continuous strip (3) of thermoformable filter material; a station (4) for heating the first continuous strip (3); a continuously rotating drum (5) provided with a series of dies (9), and a corresponding series of punches (10) configured for plastically deforming a portion of the first strip (3) and making a three-dimensional chamber (C) to contain a dose (12) of infusion product; a station (11) for dosing doses (12) of the infusion product; a feed station (13) for feeding a second strip (14) of filter material; a joining station (15) for joining the first strip (3) to the second strip (14) to close the three-dimensional chamber (C); and a cutting station for making single filter bags (1).
Abstract:
An overwrap envelope (7) containing a filter bag (1) for infusion products comprises a sheet (2) of overwrapping material folded into a U shape along its transversal axis (X) around the filter bag (1). The overwrap envelope (7) has two longitudinal sides (3, 4) and one transversal side (5) sealed by at least two sealing lines (6) which are uninterrupted along the longitudinal sides (3, 4) and along the transversal side (5). Each scaling line (6) is defined by two longitudinal stretches and one transversal stretch which are joined to obtain an uninterrupted shape and which form an uninterrupted perimeter seal.
