摘要: The invention relates in general terms to a device for production of a packaging precursor, wherein the packaging precursor consists to an extent of at least 80% by weight, based on the packaging precursor (1000), of a sheetlike composite, wherein the sheetlike composite includes: i. a composite plastic layer, ii. a composite carrier layer, iii. a first composite edge region, iv. a second composite edge region, wherein the device includes, as device constituents in a flow direction: a) a flat transport unit designed to transport the flat sheetlike composite, wherein the transport unit includes a transport surface designed to bear the composite; downstream of that b) a first heating unit designed to heat the first composite edge region, where the first heating unit includes energy release segments; downstream of that c) a contacting unit designed to bond the first composite edge region to the second composite edge region; wherein the first heating unit is designed to release energy in the flow direction. The invention further relates to a method, to a packaging precursor obtainable by the method, to a packaging precursor and to a use of the device.

摘要: A method can fill a flexible tubular-bag packaging with a filler that contains a coarse material and can close the tubular-bag packaging. The method includes: (a) introducing a filler into a tube, (b) displacing the filler out of a closure zone of the tube, (C) pinching-off the tube in the closure zone, (d) substance-to-substance joining of oppositely disposed regions of the tube in the closure zone to form closed ends of successive tubular bags, (e) separating a tubular bag from the tube, such that two ends of successive tubular bags produced by cutting of the tube are each closed by substance-to-substance bonding.

摘要: An overlapping portion of an insulating portion formed in an annular shape is held between a workbench having a linear projection and an ultrasonic horn having a circular projection with at least part of the linear projection and of the circular projection opposed to each other and ultrasonically welded. In the ultrasonic welding, even though the ultrasonic horn under ultrasonic vibration rotates on the overlapping portion of the insulating portion, the area in the overlapping portion held between the linear projection and the circular projection with at least part of the linear projection and of the circular projection opposed to each other is not reduced after ultrasonic vibration is applied to the ultrasonic horn.

摘要: An apparatus includes a drum that rotates about an axis and rotating an anvil roll that rotates about an axis of rotation. The drum includes a fluid nozzle and a press member, the press member having an outer surface. The anvil roll includes a compliant outer circumferential surface. First and second substrates are advanced in a machine direction onto the drum. The fluid nozzle moves radially outward and a jet of heated fluid may be directed onto the substrates. The fluid nozzle retracts radially inward and the press member may be shifted radially outward. The substrates may be compressed between the press member and the anvil roll such that the press member deforms the compliant outer circumferential surface of the anvil roll.

摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of a versatile storage bag and methods of making same. The versatile storage bag may have first and second sidewalls, a double-locking closure mechanism with a first closure element extending along the first sidewall and a second closure element extending along the second sidewall, each closure element having a channel and an elongated member configured for interlocking with one another. A double-seal along three sides of the first sidewall and the second sidewall form a gusset between two seals, leaving an opening through the double-locking closure mechanism. Corner seals may be formed at the corners of the first and second sidewalls, further reinforcing the double-locking closure mechanism for an airtight and hence waterproof seal. The versatile storage bag may be made of a food-grade polyethylene vinyl acetate blend, approximately 90% or less ethylene vinyl acetate and approximately 10% or less polyethylene.

摘要: A method for forming a geomembrane liner testable for leaks by securing adjacent panels together with the conductivity of the lower surface of an overlying panel broken along a line adjacent the panel overlapping edge, and the overlapping edges sealed along the line. A heat welder has slots for the overlapping panel edges, with a heated wedge between the slots and having a projection to break the conductivity of the overlying panel bottom surface as it passes the wedge. The slots merge to press the liner edges together to heat weld them along the line of broken conductivity as the welder is moved along the panel edges.

摘要: A process for manufacturing a sheet molding compound carrier film including a first layer of material and a second layer of material sealed with each other along an edge. The seal is formed using ultrasound transmitted by a weld horn as both layers of material move along an anvil portion. The seal on the edge is suitably formed to protect the edge and build a weld to ensure moldable sheet molding compound flows to the edges of the carrier sheet, while providing a homogeneous mixture of glass and resin and also allowing air to escape.
