An oil separator for an air conditioner includes a cylindrical housing; a refrigerant discharge pipe communicating with the housing for discharging refrigerant gas; an oil discharge pipe for circulating oil collected in the lower portion of the housing; and a refrigerant inflow pipe having one end facing the inner surface of a side wall of the housing in the tangential direction for supplying a refrigerant-oil mixture to the inside of the housing. An insertion hole, into which the refrigerant inflow pipe is inserted, is easily formed, the efficiency of the oil separator is increased, and noise and vibration generated from the oil separator is reduced.

A robot cleaning system and a dust removing method of the same that are capable of moving a first dust collector mounted in a robot cleaner to a docking station to remove dust collected in the first dust collector. The robot cleaning system includes a robot cleaner having an opening, though which a first dust collector to collect suctioned dust is carried in and out of the robot cleaner, a docking station, to which the robot cleaner is docked to remove the dust collected in the first dust collector, and a collector moving unit to move the first dust collector to the docking station.

A linear compressor includes: a cylinder block forming a compressing chamber; a piston reciprocatably provided in the compressing chamber; a reciprocating member connected to the piston to reciprocate with the piston as a single body; a driver driving the reciprocating member to reciprocate; and a resonance spring including a first connecting part formed with a plurality of first connecting holes to permit connection to the cylinder block, and a second connecting part that is provided inside of the first connecting part and formed with a second connecting hole to permit connection to the reciprocating member to reciprocate with the reciprocating member. A plurality of arms spaced apart from one another are disposed between the first connecting part and the second connecting part, each of the arms including a first end connected to the first connecting part to be positioned between the plurality of first connecting holes.

A compressor includes a cylinder block having a compression chamber therein, a piston arranged in the compression chamber which reciprocates up and down, and a driving mechanism which drives the piston. The driving mechanism includes an elastic member whose peripheral portions are fixed to the cylinder block so as to allow the elastic member to oscillate up and down, and whose center portion is attached to the piston, and one or more piezoelectric actuators that are arranged on the elastic member. In response to a power, one or more piezoelectric actuators repeatedly deform and apply an exciting power to the elastic member.

An oven having enhanced cooling efficiency. The oven includes a cooking chamber, a door to open or close a front side of the cooking chamber, a cooling fan located above the cooking chamber to suction and blow outside air, a discharge duct to discharge the air, blown by the cooling fan, forward of the door, a plurality of flow-paths defined in the door to allow outside air to be introduced into and moved in the flow-path in association with discharge of the air through the discharge duct, and a suction pipe to connect at least one of the flow-paths and the cooling fan to each other. Suction force of the cooling fan is applied to the flow-paths of the door through the suction pipe as well as the interior of an electric machine room, allowing the air in the flow-path to be discharged to the outside through the suction pipe and the discharge duct. This assures more active air movement in the door and maximizes the cooling effect of the door.

A moving robot includes a sensing system. The moving robot includes light sources generating light, an optical guide to receive, diffuse, and emit the light generated from the light source, and light receiving sensors to receive the light emitted from the optical guide and then reflected by the object. Light irradiated from the light sources is diffused and emitted to a wide region through the optical guide, thereby allowing light to be emitted to the wide region with a small number of the light sources.

Disclosed herein is an autonomous cleaning machine with a brush cleaning unit to clean a brush unit. The autonomous cleaning machine includes a main body, the brush unit rotatably provided on the main body, first brush cleaning members contacting the brush unit to move foreign substances wound on the brush unit in a lengthwise direction of the brush unit, and second brush cleaning members contacting the brush unit to remove the foreign substances wound on the brush unit from the brush unit.

A robot cleaner system is described including a docking station to form a docking area within a predetermined angle range of a front side thereof, to form docking guide areas which do not overlap each other on the left and right sides of the docking area, and to transmit a docking guide signal such that the docking guide areas are distinguished as a first docking guide area and a second docking guide area according to an arrival distance of the docking guide signal. The robot cleaner system also includes a robot cleaner to move to the docking area along a boundary between the first docking guide area and the second docking guide area when the docking guide signal is sensed and to move along the docking area so as to perform docking when reaching the docking area.

A robot cleaner that is capable of preventing dust collected in a dust tank from flowing backward outside when a situation in which the dust may be discharged outside occurs includes a cleaner body, a dust tank mounted in the cleaner body to collect dust, and a backward-flow preventing device to prevent dust from flowing backward outside through a suction port of the dust tank. The backward-flow preventing device includes a shutter unit to open and close the suction port and a stopper unit to drive the shutter unit.
