Abstract: A wrench has a socket defined by a plurality of flat faces and a handle. A first threading tool is provided having a shape and dimension to fit into the socket. An adapter that retains a second threading tool includes a connector having the same shape and the dimension as the first threading tool that fits into the socket. A retaining member is rotatably mounted to the body for movement between a first position and a second position for locking the adapter and the die in the socket. The retaining member has a second plurality of flat faces defining an opening where the second plurality of faces are coextensive with the faces of the socket when the retaining member is in the first position and are offset from the faces of the socket when the retaining member is in the second position.

Abstract: Isolated immunomodulatory (e.g. immunostimulatory) polyhydroxlated pyrrolizidine compounds having the formula are disclosed. In these compounds R is selected from hydrogen, straight or branched, unsubstituted or substituted, saturated or unsaturated acyl, alkyl (e.g. cycloalkyl), alkenyl, alkynyl and aryl groups. The compounds are useful in therapy and prophylaxis, including increasing the Th1:Th2 response ratio, hemorestoration, alleviation of immunosuppression, cytokine stimulation, treatment of proliferative disorders (e.g. cancer), vaccination, stimulation of the innate immune response and boosting of the activity of endogenous NK cells.

Abstract: The present invention provides, inter alia, a method of filling and sealing a beverage container, the method comprising the steps of: a) dispensing a predetermined amount of beverage, preferably wine, into an open-topped container having a circular rim, preferably a plastics wine glass, to leave a headspace above the beverage in the container; b) temporarily tacking a generally flat flexible film lid sized to fit over the open top to the rim of the container at at least one position around the rim while leaving the remainder of the rim free; c) engaging the tacked lid to cause flexure thereof to create a gap between the lid and the rim on one side; d) dispensing an inert gas, preferably nitrogen, through the gap so created and into the headspace to displace air therefrom; and e) bringing a heat sealer into engagement with the lid to heat seal the lid to the rim about its entire circumference, thereby trapping the inert gas within the headspace.

Abstract: A bit holder comprises a body defining at least one cavity. The cavity includes a first pathway for receiving a bit and a second pathway for holding a bit. The first and second pathways intersect to define an open area between the first pathway and the second pathway such that a bit can be rotated between the first pathway and to a locked position in second pathway. The first pathway is disposed at an angle relative to the second pathway. The bit is retained by an interference fit with the body. The holder may be releasably retained in a case using mating structures on the case and holder. In a method for retaining a bit in a holder, the bit is inserted into the holder along the first pathway. The bit is rotated through the open area to position the bit in the second pathway where it is held.
